16mp HTC? yeah you got a big ass picture, but a blurry one, that consumes a lot of storage memory, this cant even beat the iphone 4 that only has 5mp camera, quality over quantity guys. I better have a medium sized picture with a great quality, finely detailed image, that doesnt consumes a lot of storage memory. Im not apple fanboy though, im with HTC, im just bashing those noobs who says that this phone has the greatest camera of all bacause of 16mp! Do some research guys, its not the megapixel that dictatates the quality of a picture, megapixel is just merely a picture size!

There's no point having a 16MP camera. An increase in MP does not mean it will be better quality.
And this phone will run Windows... So that's a no sale for me.

yeah... right, 16 megapixels might sound awessome, but the truth is that it only increases the photo resolution and not quality... everyone who look for buying this phone for its camera will absolutely experience buyers remorse. no offense to htc.

whoa... i think HTC company should use Carl Zeiss plus Sony Exmor-R sensor. Plus, this phone should have quad LED flash plus Xenon flash. Then, this phone should have 1080p full HD video recording plus 50 fps recording speed.

samuel, 19 May 2011dude the actual thing is u use n86...nd u think thats the b... moreI only tried the N86 before and i still keep the photo samples, but i never owned one - I own the N8 and im sure it's better than any HTC cameras out there in photography, including this one. Only Sony, followed by Samsung and Apple can give N8 a good fight in cameras at the same megapixel. It;s not megapixel that matters, but, i dont think there are any other phones that will put a CMOS sensor with a size 1/1.83 in a phone -thats why N8's camera is so good. It's more to the lens and sensor size.
On Why HTC chose LED instead of Xenon, i can only think of one reason - Xenon cannot be used for videos. If HTC gonna put in 1080p video recording, but the lens is small unlike N8, then lighting will be a problem, so they chose LED instead.

16Mp camera phone??? that perfectly makes no sense. This has been discussed for so many times! Megapixel Has nothing to do with image quality! it's the size,type and quality of sensor and glass. imagine how much memory would it consume on ur phone.. Better to have 8MP sensor (that's actually too much for a phone) 16MP is overkill.
