This is the smaller Pixel specifically, and it was designed by HTC, not LG as some have commented. The XL has an 18:9 aspect ratio and slimmer bezels. That's the one designed by LG.

I think what you were talking about is Pixel XL2 and that is going to be a bezel less phone made by LG. So you can have high expectation for that.
BTW it doesn't look that bad IMO, just feels a bit old.

Such an ugly phone,no wonder iPhone sells alot and alot of companies are copying iPhone design.btw Huawei p10 might be second best design this year.

So much for expecting a bezel-less Pixel, like the early rumours.
In an age when even Apple is turning to low bezel design, those chunky bezel aren't going to win any design contests. A high price unlike the early Nexus smartphones don't help either. And for a phone with no MicroSD card, removing the 3.5 mm headphone jack would be the final nail on the coffin.

That has to be the most hideous phone of 2017. It would be in 2016 also. They outdid themselves with the bezels. I think the rumor it's LG wasn't true. This looks like HTC "handiwork".
