a little too late if u ask me... but i guess Nokia knows that already. add USB 3.0 to this phone and Nokia will gain some market share. Nokia needs something more unique and right now the only that can separate Nokia from the pack is something the rest don't have which is USB 3.0 for fast syncing. I hate sitting around for hours just to sync a video file of the usb connection.

The other benefit I was reading is for Nokia
They are making a Phone that is 100% compatible with WP7 mango, this is a good news for users and Nokia/Microsoft it self, since the phones are 100% compatibles with the OS, just like Apple OS.
So, there will be no problems at all, plus the technical support of Nokia nad Microsoft are excellent so users will have at any time support by two sides, Microsoft and Nokia.
The real benefit will be for the final user..and since will be running on specific authorized/confirmed brand there will be a free troubles support. This was always a weak point on Android since Goolge isn't any help for users and they leave the support to the companies (Motorola, LG, Samsung, etc.) leaving users out the cold or just bloggs (and google) around them....
The bad part will be prices and Microsoft legacy of making all very protective and restrictive (just like Apple), however this is something I can deal with it :D

cmon nokia..... i think u still didnt realize that u have to improve ur software department. even if u make a device with core i.. processors, its of no use if it is not rich in software features like n900 and android phones do.
despite of polishing microsoft's Os, u should have speed up ur work on meego. im saying this coz i believe it is the time to release the monster smartphone with meego.
besides i think people who use computers will like to have something else in the their phones. not windows. finally ill buy a nokia wp7 device only if it has
multitasking
bluetooth file transfer
good resolution ( more than symbian devices)
divx support in player
sns integration eg skype
up to date flash support in browser

Is true...the new WP7 mango is FULLY multitasking
Has excellent improvements over the old WP7, that's why experts are so amazed about it...it can be a good war against Apple OS and Android...
That's cool! Because the real benefit IS for the final user..
More brands, more choices...more emotions :D

I will be buying one of the Nokia Windows Phones when they are out as combining Nokia's build quality and excellent camera with the quickest, easier UI is a winner.

AnonD-2486, 23 May 2011yep its not announced yet but rumours are there that WP8 is... moreNokia won't wait for WP8. The rumor is they will start with WP7.5.
I prefer the grid menu too but have nothing against a list menu. After all it's not that important. There are bigger issues to address like, as I said, adding bluetooth file transfers and etc.
I like WP7's speed, smoothness and ease of use and the WP7.5 update will add all those major missing features but unless nokia adds those four things that I mentioned, I might not buy one.

The Anna update will bring the much needed smoothness, although I find current symbian^3 devices smooth enough, certainly better than ARM11 androids.

However S3 is indeed born too late, Meego....I think this one never is going o see the day light, I belive Nokia will be more focused on WP than Meego...I hope will be wrong but I see the future of Nokia is on WP track.
