I'm looking forward to this beast, instead of the lame Note 8

This 2 version thing sounds dumb. Either make the v30 the big screen, big battery, audiophile, premium video machine media junkies deserve-- or just don't make it.

650$ for plus model is the way to go and keep it steady at least for 8 months so that loyal customers won't be disappointed.

Anonymous, 11 Aug 2017Don't buy it right away guys. Wait 2 months and this thing ... moreYes you are right..

Definitely an excellent news (rumor, etc). Hopefully this time we'll have a lot much better fight (comparison, etc) with the V30 vs Note 8 than we've had with the S8 (duo) vs G6.

Shaping to be best phone of 2017

If you want best audio quality (clarity), quad dac in LG phones should help (especially if you have $500+ headphones).

I've been using LG G2 for over 2 years and absolutely loved the sound. I expected S7 to be at least not worse, but it is. Muddy sound is the best I get from it. Sound stage is nowhere near, everything plays from the same spot. In G2 I could clearly hear every separate instrument, as if it was played from a different place, it was a great new experience with my music. Sometimes I thought the sound came from the street somewhere (sound isolation is great and when you hear sirens from a distinct place from your side, you automatically turn around, just to realize this sound came from music track).

Hopefully, Q8 provides similar experience to LG G2 (if not better), without V30 $700+ price.

I would give my mates the ox cord while in my car, so they could play music via utube. Then I would then play the same song via utube but this time on my v10 and the were blown away at the differences. The audio was even different when I played music via Bluetooth in my car compared to the iphone. The V20 is known for it's audio and video output so I fine it tough to believe your experience, however it is your experience.

Some of the concepts showed a red gold combo. Looked fantastic. Hope they offer it. This is probably too big for me but be keen to see overall physical dimension. It might just work given via screen to body ratio.

I don't know how you got that kind of experience. Are you sure your V20 was Quad dac version? It's just an honest question, please don't get offended :)
