The renders are nice, if the phone will look like this it's gonna be awesome. And with a price that much more affordable (still expensive though) compared to the Note8 I know where I would spend my money on. LG does a great job. G6 is a great phone, this V30 will also be great. I hope for a variaty of color options so the consumer has a lot choice.

Oh, LG, please don't repeat the G6 mistake of selling a gimped model in Europe and thinking we won't care. That cost you sales then, and will if you do it again.

Personally I don't care about 128GB vs 64GB if it has microSD expansion, but tell me that there's a version with better audio but I can't have it and my instinct is "so why should I reward you by buying this?". And although I don't know anyone in real life who uses wireless charging, I'm sure there are people who feel the same way about that.

Tondern, 11 Aug 2017Looks like a great phone but I'm starting to get sceptical ... moreMy friend bought Honor 9 due to my recommendation. Literally he is in love with this phone. Especially after OnePlus 5 pricing revealed here -670$ vs 460. He owned 1+1 so wanted 1+ again. But for less money he got much better phone. Now there are some excellent phones for less money but real flagships - Nobia z11, Xiaomi mi6, honor 9. I using lg g4 and never will buy something from lg anymore. For extra money i will get nothing.

Looks like a great phone but I'm starting to get sceptical about flagship phones, it's obvious that they're designed to have limited lifespans. I've always bought flagships but I'm going to be very careful with my next purchase.

Not a fan of the gimmicky notifications bar up top... No need for me... Plus a 3200 battery seems small... Wait and see I guess... Pixel XL 2 is going to be over $1000 for sure!

V20 cost about $750+ last Oct before dropping to $500 after less than four months. G6's price dropped even faster.

My Google Pixel is going to be my daily driver once I cut the T-Mobile line and I plan to wear a Google cap and shirt because I like Google so much. Make it look like I work for Google. Pixel will now be only phone brand with only Verizon going forward. But I will still use my G5 and V20 alot. Using my G5 right now to type this They make the perfect multimedia media devices, travel cameras, and browsers. Typing on G5 is just perfect.

I never got a bootloop from any of my LG phones dating back to my gold G3 S Dual. Life's good with LG. G5 on 7.0 is great. No battery drain. Love split screen. They are pricing it decently this time around compared to the ridiculous $1000 price tag the Note8 and iPhone 8 could be priced at. There is no way anyone should pay a grand for a stupid, cookie cutter smartphone that gets replaced yearly.

For that price, I ended up with a G5 ($140), Pixel ($650), and S7 edge ($200) in a span of a month from Feb 17-Mar 20. Three is better than one. Only thing LG did wrong was the timing last year. They look to correct pricing and launch this time. For anyone who can't afford Note8 and iPhone 8, this is a great alternative. Wide-angle lens is awesome to have.

Panji, 11 Aug 2017I realy love it but I need one smaller than 6". I don't nee... moreDue to its thin bezel, maybe you won't feel it is a 6 inch phone when you hold it in your hand.

Hoping to keep at least the Notification LED if not the second screen.
And also the speakers as loud or even louder than the G4, especially for music where I love the superb bass and overall quality and clarity of the audio.

I bought LG v20 with great expectations, I even sold my iphone 6 before buying it. Aand they I sold v20 after 5 days and bought an iphone 6s. Reason being: the quad DAC was not louder than the iphones normal DAC, which was the main reason I bought the v20. I used focal sphear earphones for test. The secondary screen was not of a great help. To see which exact apps have notfications you still need to unlock screen. The phone is big, barely fits my pocket. The screen was not so special. The camera was best I saw though. and the gorilla glass is much mre reflective than whatever apple is using. I am trying to leave apple ecosystem, I will try again with v30 or v30 plus whichever has the hi-fi DAC. If I dont like again then will try a samsung S8. see ya v30.

I think the critical feature nowadays is battery life. If you have got a phone with medium specs or higher and can live more than two day without charging then you own the king. I think phones like this one or Samsung galaxy note8 with low battery life are not more than soldiers in a table of chess and they should not be flagship phones anymore.
