What this article says is that samsung is going iphone 7 plus with the camera. Didn't say anything about display or body shape. Even for android fanboys samsung has the worst software. Body shape is considered the worst with the new narrow-tall curved banana form factor. Camera hasn't changed much since the galaxy s7. All that changed is the curved screen and Bixby that no one wants and which is still not available to the majority of the world. On top of that the price tags for samsung phones are ridiculous. Ready software from google and they manufacture most of their components which is much cheaper than buying the from somewhere else. Samsung phones should be the cheapest ones.
So relax and stop thinking of samsung as a god. They are not as good as you think.

I have used iPhone 7plus and I currently own OnePlus 5. And I can tell you zoom lens is useless as it doesn't even work 70% of the times. I get it tele lens need good lighting conditions but tele lens doesn't even work in indoors well lit. Only time tele lens work is if you are outside.

Guess there would be enough customers that would pay for better cameras in their phones instead of shiny bling bling stuff that nobody needs. Most of that customers also would have not a single problem when those phones are a little bit thicker, they wouldn´t even notice it.

Another massive win for samsung....Best camera ,Best body shape,Best screen,Best software....cant wait...a prestige handset with thr brilliant spen....much better than those chinese rubbish imitations.....And to crown it all the software already incorporates many anticipated functions that android 8 fanboys are hoping for....it explains why samsung doesn't need to push the latest version of Android out ...its because they have already incorporated those functions into the hand set.....Read and weep crapple and all of those Chinese rubbish phones...this is the best you can have

The camera and fingerprint sensor surrounded by a black rectangle looks ugly as f. At least the S8 Plus blended the color to match the back.

I want BIGGER SENSORS with great lenses instead of dual cameras. Feels like all those tech companies are out of real progress and it´s just about marketing, marketing, marketing. Let´s hope for the Zeiss camera in Nokia 8.

AnonD-385420, 15 Aug 2017Dual cameras might be good for produces,but all there doing... moreCorrect my friend,I went from Sammy's note 1 2 and 3,and thought there's cheaper alternatives there,so went Chinese, best thing I ever did, when you think what was spent on them 3 phone's when they came out was 2 and a half grand,now I can pick up a Chinese phone and good one at that for less than £100, now I can buy a phone every 3 month if need be,and no pre-installed apps that take you're memory up and stealing your data, CUBOT, ULEFONE and OUKITEL are brilliant for value for money :-)

Dual cameras might be good for produces,but all there doing is putting up the price of phones,what is the use of putting them on phones,when loads of consumers can"t afford to buy the phone made,Chinese phones will becoming more popular again because they will be more affordable for consumers
