Nor does it have a 16:9, but something in the middle, and it looks totally fine. As a matter of fact, having physically felt the 18:9 small bezel phones (G6 and S8), they feel too slim for me. I'm sure I'm not alone on that. As for the advantages of 16:9... it's more like disadvantages of 18:9. Black bars during video playback (even if you punch in on the S8 on Youtube, it cuts video and looks bad unless it's a 18:9 video). Also 18:9 on bigger phones is awkward to hold sometimes and even use. It's a long display and is hard to use with one hand, especially when you need to stretch your finger from top to bottom.

AlienNextDoor, 15 Aug 2017Looks great...but I still expect a $1000 device to last me ... moreLi - ion batteries can last over 1000 charge cycle and Li - Po batteries used in Huawei phones can do a little less than that.And giving the fact that this one has over 4000 mah you won't recharge it every day it will last you over 4.5 years maybe more before the battery capacity falls under 80% of it's original capacity.
