I have the Mate 9. I think I will hang on to it for at least another generation or two. I can not see paying north of $1,000 just to have the latest and the greatest Mate 10 from Huawei. Ridiculous pricing only to repeat it again next year? The current Mate 9 is a pretty solid phone. I will continue to use it until Huawei comes out with something that is more revolutionary then evolutionary. If I were to replace the Mate 9 at all, my current thinking would be LG's soon-to-be-announced V30. The camera techology is one of the best. There is an option for 6GB and 128GB of storage as well (not max at 64GB). And, at a price at around $700 or so it is considerably lower. Hopefully, Huawei maker will come to it's senses on pricing and technological innovation to increase appeal. These days there is so much competition it is truly a buyer's market.

If Sony is so much better than Huawei, why are they lower than Samsung and Huawei. Heck, Sony doesnt even have fingerprint scanners on their flagships in the US hahhaha
Sony may have 4k too, but its still not the best rated displays in the business so they are a flop too.

Just Google on XDA forum how many Huawei clients found out that instead of USF2.1 they actually have USF 2.0 or even the outdated eMMC technology.
The funny thing is that this happens to ALL China brands and even with the S8 from Sammy.
If you want to find out what type of memory you have on your phone, install terminal from play store and just type the following:
ls /proc/fs/*
So in the end, stop hating cos Sony uses 4k displays and better look at the thief lying company Huawei.

I used the mate 9, the best phone I used in my life except for one thing, no water or dust resistance, they need to make this phone water resistant with IP 68.

The XZ Premi... moreThing is, no one really wants a 4k screen because its useless unless you live VR. Plus it isnt even running 4k all the time which proves its a waste of battery and the Sony phones arent even daydream compatible which is crap. Sony phones also lack a lot on basic things.
They add small batteries into their flagships and have massive bezels. There is a reason why Sony is lower than Huawei lol. Salty fanboy. Stay at the bottom.

Who is going to pay 1000 dollars for a Chinese phone? Seriously? I'd buy the Note 8 or the iPhone 8 if I had that amount of money. A 1000 dollar phone is something to brag about. You cannot brag a Huawei phone to anyone.
