Hi, all you guys who dont have this yet, dont bother! It doesnt wake up unless you say hi Bixby in an american accent? Its so slow and not anywhere near as good as google assistant. I have tried several times to set it up, clear data znd try again. Its just useless. I have given up with this rubbish we were hoodwinked into thinking it would be the next big thing and disabled it completely.

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2017I would not really like to use any kind of Voice Assistant.... moreYeah it does feel a bit strange at first but I would encourage You to at least give it a try... it's actually quite a bit of fun and pretty handy "Hi Bixby..wake me up at 7am" BOOM DONE " I've set the alarm for 7am"

It happens with everything from phones to apps, I find it quite incredible.

If you dont have the update just be patient. I live in Hungary and got mine few hours ago - the roll out may take some time to arrive in all countries. Still has english and korean language only as an option but nothing have been translated here (like siri or google assistant) so its absolutely okay for me. Did the set up and now it works fine, she's smart and does everything i ask for. I usualy keep the phone in low brightness and when I took a walk with my dog and step outside couldnt see the screen because of the sun but the "turn on the brightness" fixed it without holding my phone few centimeters from my eyes trying to find the brightness bar almost blindly as I usualy do. What else can I say - Bixby welcome in the family.

Why are you even bothering? We all know that this isn't gonna work to begin with. We all know that Samsung is the King of Gimmicks and Half-Baked software. They are just trying to continue doing some updates just to save their asses from total humiliation since they made a hype on this. Look how long Samsung made it available worldwide despite being said to be the number one company.

John Walker, 22 Aug 2017How do you get Bixby on your device ? Please help !!!!!!!!Well first of all you will need to download the updates if you have not done so already. If not go to your 'galaxy app's then click on top right (three dots) then click 'my apps' followed by 'update' then make sure you update anything BIXBY

BIXBY would not work for me even after updating, but someone was good enough to tell me to clear the cache in everything related to BIXBY

To do this. Go to your 'settings click on 'apps' then click on each app related to BIXBY..... for e.g click BIXBY VOICE then click 'storage' then click 'clear cache' then just repeat for every BIXBY app ....bixby vision and so on

                Hope this helps :)

I would not really like to use any kind of Voice Assistant. I prefer to press buttons or touch the screen, I won't feel comfortable speaking with a device, I think people seems stupid doing it.
