That dude probably would bring back a CRT if given the chance.... Maybe he was also one of those people who said that small sized DLP modules were the future

This problems are from 4-5 generations back, amoled is most accurate in colours, they better than LCD, mostly people don't use this option, cause they like oversaturation of colours, never seen any burn ins since S4 days, invalid comment

Moved from the note series after Note 4 mainly because of the removable battery to LG V10 LG G5 and V20, which were great phones. I missed my S pen but the V series were good for me. If V30 takes this feature away then I will probably go back to Note 8. LG being different is what I want not the same as Samsung or Iphone.

Either they got finally pen(probably not), or they invented something better(?), or they are being ridiculous. Point of note device is having pen, not big screen, S8+ is for that. Broken pen just shows they didn't get it.

Why are they targeting the Note?! OMG, please don't be expensive.

The... moreActually LG had an answer to the Note's since the very begining!LG G Pro or whatever it was called was the first real competitor. But back than literary no one has an 5.5+ display let alone pen,so Sammy ended picking all the "fame" for itself(heck the note3 is most produced note in the entire line).
Nowdays.... you just need to turn your head and see 5.5-6" phablets anywhere from the possibly every known or uknown manufacturer.Top spec?confirmed.Top camera?Confirmed.Amoled?A few does offer it.
So basically the segment is saturated as it gets, its not 2012 anymore.
And I agree with you,Note has its own loyal fan base(the one's that actually use it the pen),but they do not make the majority of salles. The others who might want flagship big screen or multinedia device might find better solution elswere(especially if money matters)

They are only differentiated by what special features they bring. Note brings spen which no other brand has an answer, XZP has its motion eye camera/4k hdr screen, well Apple is an apple and so on... As far as premium segment goes Note8 does sweep its non-Apple opponents. As far as price is concerned, all flagships are priced at par. Lg v30 can't be considered as an alternative to the note, Notes always have loyal customers, what LG has got to sway those customers from Note8?

Unless lg finds a way to incorporate a wacom stylus that has capacities greater than the s pen into the v30, there is no way the latter can ever hope to replace the note series. There is no contest.

The times when Samsung had upper hand in many fields(and features) are long past.Today competitors closed the gap in many areas, leaving only the S-pen uncontested... and seeing the price(almost double than Note5 for example),am convinced that Samsung's "Happy times" are over.
