And while both were ahead in detail it doesn't look as great on either in some settings because it's too sharpened.

If samsung and g6 has the same aperture, same pixel size with the nokia 8, i doubt they will not get the same quality as nokia 8 offer from the comparison. Imagine if nokia boosted a f 1.8 aperture to this phone, this will blow up the competition. Its just f 2.0 but delivers a great result. Check out some 13mp phone from samsung and lg and compare it to nokia 8. Samsung has big sensor and wide aperture thats a big bonus.

[deleted post]The U11 camera is simply better than the Nokia 8 camera. All the software updates won't change that.

G6 the best for any condition, no matter day or night; but strangely G6 sensor is the smallest but still almost everytime do TIE with S8 even in low light; Lg did great job in software sections.
Owning both S8 & G6, i would say I'm bit fond of/lean towards G6 for my rigorous use; keeping S8 as secondary.

Are you comparing Carl Ziess with Leica? No wonder 13 MP is better than 20 MP. Afterall Chinese are fooling you with their attractive prices.

Didn't read this but you will have to recycle this article to include the Note 8.
