This is great news, so long as your phones come with good updates of good functions and features people will continue to buy because the update makes it feel new. People will still buy P9 till you stop bringing updates. Mate 7, Mate 8, P8, Nova and Nova plus all need updates like this and more so people can still buy them and use them as up to date phones. HUAWEI, you are the best in updates. Let it be worldwide and show people how to do it. Please show a simple way of doing it, thank you.

My P9 is still running on Android 6 despite a number of calls to Huawei. I have P6/P7/P8 upgrade of software? Forget it.

Does this is also bring the security update up to par? Currently there are over 12 million P9 range phones that are affected by Broadpwn and still Huawei has not updated the phone to patch vulnerability. I have asked them numerous times about it and I get the generic response "Your request has been sent to the development team" and I get no further feedback.
