I quite like Meizu's Skin, the FlymeOS.
It's a bit more tasteful than MIUI, and extends the skin further so it feels more consistent.
I can't vouch for their optimisation of MTK, as its hard to know how well MTK chips perform since the SoC is pretty much out-of-bounds of developers and OEMs.
However I hope Meizu can accomodate all three SoC's into the same phone models.

AsusTech, 29 Aug 2017before you go keyboard warrior, learn a thing or 2 about th... morehe is right though, snapdragons outperform MTKs on every level, the MTK flagship chip the X30 is about as powerfull as the SD820 which is pretty lame as this was Qualcomms last year flagship chipset, the QSD 835 smokes the MTK easily, the 660 also is on par with the X30 and also smokes easily every P-series from MTK, at this point even huawei makes better chips than MTK

I've always liked Meizu.
This is a really smart move to be able to multisource from 3 SoC suppliers. It requires a major architectural & R&D commitment, but it will likely pay off in the long run.

Meizu & Xiaomi generally pulled the best out of MTK chipsets. Because MTK chips don't have issue with speed but with battery usage. Meizu managed to balance that pretty good. On the other hand, Flyme is in its essence a very buggy os. If they correct that and keep using Qualcomm, i see no reason for Meizu not to sell 30 or 40 millions units anually.
Because the design and build quality is very good!

The Exynos versions will be better, but obviously they're in short supply for now. Only one 10nm fab and that's only for the S8/N8.
