And why mix your love or hate of BBOS or crackberry into this? This is a TCL Andriod device with a BB sticker... Though the original design was by BB

But sure it could have been nice if TCL had recalled all KeyOnes, but as this does not render the device dangerous as such (like battery or charger issues on various brands over the years), an offered replacement should do the trick.

Do we even know if TCL shipped any of the old products to the distributors after they changed the product? As they have a hard time meeting the demand, I bet any stock would be quite limited.
The crooks here COULD be the distributors/resellers. When a replacement program exist, I guess each honest distributor or reseller could have returned the units in stock if they wanted to... But the distributors/resellers would have to wait a while for new stock, And some might have chosen to turn a blind eye and just sold the faulty products in stock, hopping for the best....

They denied that it was an issue for a month and a half and sent CrackBerry Kevin a reinforced phone with glue to lie to everybody and tell them that the problem didn't exist so they could keep selling a broken product. That was June 9th. They continued to sell old stock without a recall or without adding glue to the screens until 15 July. All post July 15 builds now have glue, but still no recall or warranty extension for the early adopters.

And if you were unfortunate enough to buy the first batch, they still won't do a repair without original receipt. That means its extremely risky to buy second hand.

You have no clue what you are talking about. Go back to the Crackberry echo chamber, where BB10 is still a viable OS and the Playbook update to BB10 is just around the corner.

They will never make a comeback in the US so long as they are denying claims of the screen falling out (largely their most loyal customers bought it at release) and they make the Black US Keyone lower spec'd and ATT exclusive.

So this is basically the same as the version for (and soon by) Optiemus. With the key difference that it is one sim only.
