Stop these stupid benchmarks...you should know that they push texturing to limits and forget geometry and CPU usage in-game...
These benchmarks don't represent a real game...

Take some real game, install gamebench and measure FPS on them during a 10minutes gaming session

PowerVR GPU is actually pretty good, just the CPU sucks/

Garbage chipset, MT never could compete with big dogs anyway

X20 had (have) 8 A53 core's & two higher clocked A72's than S650 which had only 4 A53 core's but it never scored 40% higher but only 29% & even that much In pure synthetic benchmarks as Geakbench. In reality S650 whose (is) far better as they are equal as they both throttle down to 1.44~1.5 GHz in prolonged use on big A72 cluster (this falls to 1GHz on S652 with 4x A72) which is top sustainable for both but X20 had other part of the problem in equation and that whose GPU which throttled all around much more & generally X20 whose mostly much more power inefficient even it whose based (at least on paper) on better lithography and mostly because stupid unusual deca core design. S650 is a mid class marvel from Qualcomm even up to this date. We will see would next year's S670 will be worthy successor to get the title of the best user orientated SoC from good old S650 but the direct concurrency it will have is this X30 SoC which will be cheaper then as it's not very successful now. I do think X30 is a good SoC even MTK continued to push with deca core configuration... But we will see more about X30 soon enough.

msm5, 04 Sep 2017Not worthy over $100lol. i quite agree. An S7 Edge is cheaper and faster with storage expansion. they are asking too much for an estimated 500 EUR

              That makes parity, yeah.

Single cores were equal, cause both SoCs relied on A72, but guess, what? A72 scored close to that year kryos.

              Indeed , X20 scored close to 820's.

leledumbo, 03 Sep 2017I already expect the GPU being a weakpoint right where they... moreWouldn't call this power VR weak nor would I compare it to midrange Adreno series as it's much faster then those. In fact if this power VR can keep up it's performance for extended period of time (as A530~A540 can't) it will represent best choice for those who want to game on the Android platform. When you mentioned it it's funny how much memory bandwidth can do for current Adreno generation as A510 & A512 are the same GPU on silicone, difference is a bit higher clocks on A512 pared with DDR4 (vs DDR 3) which translates in roughly 37% performance gain.

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2017that's bad GPU. if meizu wants market shares, it should get... moreThat actually depends of how much it throttles in extended synthetic and real usage. For instance A430 & A440 throttle significantly while Mali on Kirin 960 throttle abnormally. At the end the GPU on X30 could be it's strongest point (if it doesn't throttle and we know drivers & support are good), a ten CPU cores gimikin certainly ain't. Would be nice that someone does a benchmark comparison in Dolphine emulator so that we can see real up/down side's of the drive state & all.

128K scores on MTK Helio X chip, earlier X20 had around 85-90K.

I hope to see bigger upgrade on next generation Helio X.

These benchmarks are already the least accurate way of telling how well a phone performs. You can have the highest score yet have the worst optimised system and that score will mean nothing.

It wastes space on the die for no reason. 95% of mobile games plays just fine on mediocre hardware. It is inadvisable to make a soc significantly pricier for the 5% of the 10% of possible uses... never understood why qualcomm cares so much for graphics on adnroid. On iphones I can understand, ios has the games to utilize the power, android are far behind in that department.

S810 gets something like 15-25 fps in the latest new-gen game dead heads on 1080p and not more than 30 fps with a lot of micro-lags in madout . Also mc versus and other new releases are most probably half-compatible with it . Not even reminding the upcoming gta 4 port ( which , for sure , is gonna be even worse optimized than on PC ). S625 is even weaker so yeah...
