LG V30 will probably cost $749.99 [Updated]

In terms with the hardware, V30 seems to be the best phone on the market right now. Much more impressive than a Note 8. I don't like it iOS, so I don't see any other competition for it that has successfully greater feature set.
But why the rounded corners on the display? I doesn't look great in my opinion. And the curves make it so much like S8, that people will mistake it for Samsung.
If 750$ is the price, then V30 is by far the better choice.

The best phone out there but the comment section is hilarious. Samsung Note8 for $1000 over this is good? Bootloop comment is like saying Note8 too will burn like 7, this thing holding value over Samsung? Sony is playing safe this year, Note8 doesn't seem that innovative and Apple is yet to unveil so the phone with f1.6, dual cam, dac, multimedia creation package, oled, SD835, ml and Ip certification etc from a respectable brand is not worth excitement? Biased we all are and unwilling to accept anything that doesn't have a label of Aplle or Samsung or Sony on it seriously. V30 is better but yeah Note8 is the king no matter what right? Let's forget innovation and focus on products from two top tier brands only. Peace

Things like LPP 10nm, Arm 75/55, mali g2, new adreno, possible 7nm, and whatever new tech. Even Sony looks to be getting back into the game. Nokia is sort of back. In teh next year or two there will actually be some big oled releases. Where and when they hit the mobile market is not known.
But Two years from now with the S10/Note10. I expect to see a few strides.

Ah, much more reasonable price unlike LG G6 with only a SNAPDRAGON 821 that cost almost the same when just released

It will be very interesting to see how this V30 become a main chalenger for Note 8. With 150$ cheaper price, V30 is definetely a solid buy.

[deleted post]Even as soon as March. Happened to the V20. It was $400 very briefly from T-Mobile. I ended up getting my V20 for $530 (tax included) in May. Just wait a couple months to save a couple hundred bucks.
I like the design and the display doesn't look like crap this time but nah. I don't like iOS but the gesture control that I wanted back in 2013 using Nova Prime + All-In-One Gestures on my HTC One M7. Apple might be headed somewhere with it, AR, and advanced facial recognition.
So just save some cash and wait for the iPhone 8s or whatever they call it next year. By then, the Note9 and 8s will feature the fingerprint sensor on the display. The iPhone 8 is just a guinea pig until better refinements with their s models.
Will likely go Pixel 3 or iPhone 8s next year. From a software standpoint, neither Samsung or LG age well thanks to their Android skin. LG isn't known for longevity and durability. Stick to Nokia or Motorola for that.
