we must be patient with symbian, nokia definitely will issue MeeGo handsets this year. WP7 next year or the end of the year. I believe, remains the best nokia! :)

Can you please guys quit criticizing Nokia for not putting 1GHz CPU on their Symbian phones. Not all systems require a 1GHz CPU and Symbian is a perfect example of that. Actually, the actual clock speed of the ARM11 CPU of Symbian^3 devices is 800MHz. They even underclocked it to 680MHz to save battery, so it's a clear testament that Symbian is fine with 680MHz and does not need an 800MHz, let alone, 1GHz. And to those people who expressed their disdain for other people still buying Nokia devices nowadays, I, too, can't believe that there still exist irrational and illogical human beings in these modern times who can't respect that people have preferences. Is that what Android and iOS have made you? Shallow and dumb-witted.

Ok, people, companies do not price their phones merely according to what kind of hardware they use. They also charge according to what kind of user experience they promise (including of course other costs, such as marketing campaigns etc). Personally, I don't care what kind of hardware is implemented in each phone. I see dual core phones lagging every day. What I want is hassle-free, buttery smooth, intuitive experience. If someone can achieve that with 128 MB of RAM and a 166MHz cpu that's fine by me and I would actually prefer it over these dual-core, power hungry beasts.

look at sony ericsson x10 1ghz but still slow . today it get updated 2.1 . android too much versions but the do not know what the are doing . yes we all hoping nokia use 1ghz or dual core processor . but just wait for nokia 21 june . nokia will show something "you and nokia enemys " never saw in your life . nokia n9 aka nokia killer phone

because with nokia... moreOkay now, build quality of nokia is never great. its good.
current nokia phones do not give the style statement, not a head turner.
Neither they have a flashy- eye catching graphics or o/s.
they do not have up to date hardware, fanboys may argue that symbian can perform without 1 ghz , 512 ram etc.. may be true, but what wrong in using the latest h/w for the money we spend? may the extra power of the h/w can be utilised for other purpose.. like including a 'ps3' like system, dual o/s. or some flashy app.
nokia never does anything like that.
never had good screen , specially on the high end /flagship phones.
so why pay for nokia?

I can't believe there are people who still buy Nokia!
They behind technology like 3 years they should quit and make phone designs because they good at it
And don't tell me Symbian doesn't need fast CPU because Bada too doesn't need fast CPU but Samsung put fast CPU to give great performance and been top in the list of GSMarena for long time S8500
And AND if Symbian doesn't need fast CPU only 680MHz then why they sell it too expensive like 1 Ghz phones?

I think Nokia should review on its cost wrt competitors, b'coz in Samsung a 1 Ghz processor phone is available for 230Euro and in Nokia a mere 600 Mhz processor phone is costing 400 Euro, well i will go for it if it is 300 Euro .....

I want a true N900 successor with dev support! My HTC DHD is great. It's fast and does not lag, the Gingerbread update just made it better. Loving my DHD. Peace!
