YouTube rolls out HDR support for Pixels, Galaxy S8 and Note8, LG V30, and Sony Xperia XZ Premium

As usual with new features, not everyone with one of those phones is seeing this yet.

I love my S8 screen, it's just brilliant but really performance sucks. It's lagging when video is in 1440p.(my wifi is 100mb/s so it's not because of the wifi).

Tho... moreBut the higher pixel density of the XZ Premium's screen would outclass your S6's screen even if it's modded to run 4K, because it's just a plain upscales 2K to 4K, while it is native 4K on the XZ Premium.

              Yeah better (at least). And most probably there is the G6 as well in the list.

                          Just checked and found my xperia xz premium has got the update.. Just searched for "hdr video" on YouTube app and i can play it at 2160p HDR format... The only phone in the world to play that format i.e 4k hdr

                            Enjoying hdr content on my s8 plus too, you should add that into the post.
