Just go to "no forums to see all that mind blinded zombies.
Now, on the device...it looks georgeus. And it has top of the spec (at least SoC).
If I would live in China I would buy it, without consideration of something else.
But since it is China only device, rest of the world needs to pay retailers margins, tax and shipping costs , this will cost more then s8 (f.a. I bought it for 500$), V30, u11.. and it will had no warranty and service support out of China (India,Malaysia,and some other adian markets usually get' s it, but leater)

No ... moreI have been using the Mate 8 since it came out and I was hoping this phone would of been the phone to replace it... Really disappointed by the Mix 2! I am waiting to see what the Mate 10 will be like, battery size is the top important factor with a high end cpu..
I hate Samsung phones, their batteries don't last more than a year then needs to be replaced.. The os is always buggy..
The V30 might be good as long it can last a day on a charge..

I am considering buying a new phone 1. huawei mate 10 ---2. google pixel 2 ---3. lgv30 maybe it will be the mate 10 but the only reason why pixel 2 is interesting is their camera its really mindblowing :)))
But the design of mate 10 is very nice

Last year i was really disappointed the phone was only released in a few countries, it was bold, beautiful and pushed boundaries. It ignored the other manufacturers and did its own thing and it looked absolutely gorgeous and amazing. This year though... wow what a disappointment for other reasons, played it safe, took away features that made last one great and just not pushed any boundary...

Total fail on all the cameras and the battery. Even the Mi Note 3 is much better. Style over substance. FAIL.

Lets buy the original Mi Mix instead. Hoping for a lower price now.
...Or a Mi Max 2 instead. ;)

I see how much people in love with LG. But hey, who will buy it? No one. This hipe is useless, like it was when G6 revealed. Who cares this ugly phone now? If you ever used LG flagship and compare support of other oems - you will never buy LG phone again. What about Mi Mix2? It's just amazing. Whatever says lg or hmd global employees here.

People should remember this doesn't have an IP68 ingress protection (water/dust resistance).
So it really is just a mid-range phone with a good processor, like the OnePlus or Essential PH-1.
I can say its definitely inferior to the LG V30, SG S8, and SG Note8.
I wouldn't say this is better than a SG S7 or LG G6, or even the original Xiaomi Mix.

Mi Mix 2 has the exact same screen size as V30, and seems to have much smaller bezels, but still somehow has a larger footprint (according to official specs)....

Quite disappointing Xiaomi,
I was expecting the 2nd generation Mix to have a real competitive advantage against the other flagships using the same processor, instead they delivered it with a smaller battery and mediocre camera ( a single main one at that). I was even willing to put up with that awful front camera placement, but Xiaomi has now made it easy to officially take it off the short list of new phones to consider for an upgrade this year.

Disappointing to see the Mi Mix 2 with 3400 MaH battery but it'll probably have at least decent battery life like all the Xiaomi phones.

I bet everybody who is crying about some gimmicks and numbers will get wet in front of the looks of that phone. This thing with this price is a winner.
