I don't think I need the power of SD835 while SD660 can fulfill my need just right (with better battery life?). I think I'll wait for some reviews first.

The first phones to get Oreo Custom ROMs were Xiaomi phones

Regarding customer support I had the dead pixel problem on my redmi note 4 and got it replaced at a service center for free at least in my case I have had no issues with the Customer Care

Now, Xiaomi has decided that brand value has been created so let's up the prices and water down the specs. All their midrange phones are seeing this trend. Mi A1 has only sd625 with 3000mah battery. Compare it with more 4 and it's an awful deal. Stock android is so not worth that much bucks on a Xiaomi .

AnonD-98446, 11 Sep 2017The Processor is good .. but smaller battery size and small... more5.5", wonder why some manufacturers are stuck on this size,,,,it's time to make em larger!

Quiet disappointed with Mi Note 3 specifications. Xiaomi did it again by downgrading the new phone specs from its predecessors in the phone series. SD660 is not a big issue for me but no Amoled screen, reducing the display size and battery capacity is really a deal breaker to me. This is the time to opt for another brand. Bye, bye, bye Xiaomi and you can kiss goodbye to my money.

While Mi Note 3 come with SD660 mean Redmi Note 5 and Mi Max 3 (if it existed) in future will not get SD660. The most plausible chipset for both RN5 and Mi Max 3 it SD630. but not a surprise if both get SD450 and other downgrade.

                  WTH xiaomi...

Good points - You left the curved edged. Curved edges are pathetic IN MY PERSONNEL OPPINION, as it "robs" you screen estate, and makes the phone INSANELY more fragille... one drop and it's dead screen at least 90% of the times... Lower price is a plus ;)

AWFUL POINTS - Screen size reduced... battery size reduced... SoC is mild okay, but even so, the reduced performance (specially graphical wise, as cpu wise is only slightly slower) is a let down...

All in all, it's a MAJOR DOWNGRADE IMHO....
Now try to convince anyone who owns a Mi Note 2 to upgrade to Mi Note 3... LOL

'Mi Note' as we know is the flagship name for xiaomi..'Redmi Note' is a midrange.
look at xiaomi right now. some ppl will be confused with the xiaomi naming as for now.

AnonD-644820, 11 Sep 2017Is xiaomi really a good brand? good brand. phones are reliable, software support is long, frequent and easy to follow. redmi series are nice for the price they lost their mojo a while ago in the upper midrange due to pricing and questionable design calls, though.
