Newest one is quite loud tho, Z1c was a bit low on speaker when compared.
But yeah, absolutely solid stable devices with frequent updates.
    Love em.

While every brand has their strong points (I won't be biased) I can tell you that Samsung is a very good brand. I have a S5 and it's basically perfect. October 17 will make it THREE YEARS since I have it and it has never crashed, froze or hung. It probably stalled on a 3rd part app once, twice or thrice during the three years but I have NEVER had to do a battery pull or force restart. It generally went fixed itself. I have done a factory reset only three times. The first two times was after Lollipop and Marshmallow update respectively and the third time was after I did too much maintenance and messed up the Playstore.
Either way my S5 runs like new, it's buttery smooth (especially when texting), it's fast, fluid and filled with features to the brim.

We all know the Galaxy S set the trend with innovations that other manufacturers don't implement in their devices and the Galaxy S changed the whole smartphone game (for reference read the very first paragraph for the S5 and S3 review right here on GSMArena).

I am not a biased person and I have never owned a Xperia. Held a few throughout the years and they felt good in the hand but I have never used one over an period of time to know what they are really like. However, what I do know is that the volume is low and to me volume is important, I need to hear my phone ring especially in noisy environment. Nevertheless, my point was to let you know that my Samsung Galaxy smartphone doesn't have the word 'crash' in it's vocabulary and one more thing. I have NEVER EVER HAD an issue with my Wi-Fi. Not on my previous S2 nor my S5.

I just returned mine. Having a phone that constantly has issues with WiFi, GPS and bluetooth is ridiculous. I will never buy another Sony phone with the experience I got with a "premium device."

No company on the bleeding edge can make it problem free. Samsung had exploding phones, Google can't get basic LTE antenna to work right with carriers, LG well average at best. China phones, well, lasts just past the warranty date, some not even. As consumers, we've been shallow in accepting products looking good on the outside, having a great spec. sheet on paper. Until consumers themselves wise up, we'll keep getting sub-par products or services

[deleted post]LOL. but in reality, it is different.
there are many ex sonyboys migrated to other brands like apple samsung and even china phones.
the reason why sony always fail to sell their phones is because they keep losing fanboys.

LOL... moreYou do understand that 70% of mtk6750 and similarly popular pieces of mediatek crap have the same software and main hardware despite the screen size, shape, form and any other occurrence. Samsung has it's own name to look after, while Sony is using Qualcomm chipsets that they have interpreted (kinda like ASUS, MSI, ASRock, etc have their variants of intel and amd chipsets.

Did Googlee give update to fix the issue with Pixels?
I really dont know, havent got the time to research all of them wifi problems of every other flag phone..

well, as you can tell from my name "Sony Lover"... i had the chance to hold Samsung S8 in my hands.. kept with me for couple days for testing battery life, then return it to the owner... to be honest... that Amoled screen looks SO VIBRANT compare it to my XZ Premium.. even when taking shots (stills) looks wow.. nice camera, though (over saturated, and a bit sharpened)... but in reality... XZ Premium wins!

                    why?

i uploaded both pics taken with my XZ Premium and S8 to my computer, to see how they looks on a regular LCD Display (no braging, no IPS neither Amoled)... and Samsung's shots looked a bit pale... and Sony's looked more natural, yet rich with colors... regardless of the great camera quality in S8.... for me... XZ Premium wins! because it's shots are more natural and true to life... S8 not... they looks WOAH on it's Amoled... upload them on a crappy computer LCD and you will see that there is no WOAH no more... just good shots and that's it....

S8 display has great brightness and blacks compared to the XZ Premium's... but both offers great viewing angles...

not the same panel technology in both!

also, i found something interesting , and it kinda annoyed me, but at the same time i was like "wow" what if it was 100%....

samsung jpeg quality is set to 96% out of the 100%
Sony's is set to 90% out of 100% and still does great, and crisp shots....

i was wondering why don't they set it to 100%... and why they don't use the camera's potential to deliver the best experience... (unless you ROOT your device), and maybe many of you would have the same thoughts like me, unless there is a reason for it...

...ohh.. BTW, that S8 felt like a toy in my hand compare it to the XZ Premium... in everything.. it's so small , and i felt for real how Premium the XZ is when the S8 was in my hand!

i really couldn't feel or get convinced this phone would fulfill my needs as Sony's does!

so, sammy fanboyz, please don't get me wrong....lol, it's just a matter of preference and choice....

Thanks everyone for not feeling bad... i had to be honest :-)

the reason why sony always release so many updates is because they have buggy unstable software.
