Anyway, they really need to do a review for this one. I just got it three days ago (Chinese version), and it's just full of awesomeness :D
I went from an S7 edge, which was quite disappointing, to this one, and it's definitely a HUGE improvement!
- most important: no horrible edge, nicely flat!
- 5000 mAh, huge improvement over the 3500 mAh of the S7 edge
- camera is pretty much as good, even 16mp instead of 12mp, and you can download the filters
- you can use dual sim cards *and* a memory card at the same time!
- full access to Samsung apps, if you like them, including S Health (step counter)
- better screenshots! swipe down from the top and select the screenshot icon. Impossible on the S7 edge, it has no such icon. You had to swipe your palm across the screen, which only worked one out of five times (if you were lucky).
- much cheaper! Got it for just 340€ on eBay (new, sealed box!), fast shipping from the UK.
- good 16:9, no horrible 19.5:9 that's plaguing the S8 devices.
- it can do everything the S7 edge can do, and more.

Isn't Oreo already out ? And your getting updated to a one year old Nougat OS. Very exciting.

I got my phone updated on 13 Sept 2017 to Nougat.
I have been using this from last 24 hours and observed that battery is draining very fast than the earlier version.
Looks like Samsung need to release patch to resolve this issue.

16 x 9 are actually 14 x 9 in many cases
what a hard game now only i like a mini phone just for call
never mind any thing else buy a notebook for web and movie / works
and prefer use less internet world

I wonder why this awesome phone has not been given a full review. Doesn't anyone want to know the endurance rating of that superb 5000 mAh battery? Combine that with the 6 inch 1080p 16:9 AMOLED display and you have a multimedia champion.

Finally after a much anticipated wait samsung has pushed the update. Comes with samsung user experience 8.1 and Android security patch level is of August 2017. Has all functions of 7.0 but blue light filter is missing! And a funny looking font/icons for battery indicator.
Camera app is refreshed and is smooth. UI is also smooth and looks great.
