iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have smaller batteries than last year's iPhones

The thing that vexed me the most is how much more performance Apple and it's engineers are able to get out of less. That tells me the others need to step up their game to get even better results that what Apple is getting.

    The battery capacity thing is very stupid.
    About the weight, i suppose glass is heavier and thicker than aluminium they want to keep the same phone bend-resistance and structure integrity.Battery size is no excuse, not to talk about the extra money required for the fast charging(the wall thing plus a new cable...)

              What voodoo is Apple doing to be able to get same battery performance as its main competitors while using about 40% less. Damn, those Apple engineers sure earn their pay. Before anyone jump on me, I know why they can get performance like this, just having fun with some on this board.

                        known issue with apple .... if they cannot figure out something they will reduce it or remove it .. lmao

                          iPhone 8 Plus actually has longer battery life than the X. Check the Apple site. Phil said X has 2 hrs longer battery than the 4.7" 7. He left out saying X is lower than the 8 Plus.

                          The 8/8 Plus might be worth it for wireless and fast charging. The iPhone 7 Plus charged slow (over 3 hrs) even with an iPad charger (2.5 hrs). That's where iPhone is getting dusted. Fast charging. I'm used to charging my LG phones no longer than 1 hr and 15 minutes. Even my SE which charges fast for an iPhone takes longer.

                            No one says anything about iphone batteries being too small and bad, but everyone would talk about Note 8's battery being smaller than S8+ which is still way better than the iPhone's one.

                              Some more great news for Apple fans :D

                                        For a company that charges an arm and a leg for there phones cannot even give you at least a 3,000mah plus battery,very strange to say the least !
