I'm not sure if I am reading too much between the lines. But reading Elop's hopes for Samsung's success with WP7, it gives me the feeling that the Nokia-M$ deal was more about M$ wanting to push their WP7 than Nokia trying to sort out its current mess.

Once a big fan of Nokia, I feel so sorry to hear that Nokia wants the competitor's success. Actually I doubt Samsung really wants to push Windows Phone 7, as they have publicly announced that more than 50% of their smartphones will be Android and 35-40+% will be Bada..that means WP7 counts around 10% or so. My bet is they will manufacture 1 highend and 2 midranges...at most.

And one question: Do you really believe Nokia will survive till Q4'2011 to see release of Nokia WP7 phone?

if you do not get it - Nokia days are counted. That was because of way too many bad decisions. Also what that CEO has told in the interview was 100% copy&paste from his previous media appearances.. Wondering is that on purpose?

I wonder what would Samsung feel if they read this.
