Palm was the first who introduce an accessory for wireless charging on 2009. Nokia was the first who implanted the wireless charging directly to the phone (Lumia 820 & 920) on 2012, followed by Samsung on their S4's accessory on 2013, and Google+Asus on their Nexus 7 on 2014. Even after those devices, none of these Chinese OEMs' phones following (including Xiaomi). Only after Apple announcing that their new phones support wireless charging, Xiaomi joining Qi consortium (and indicated/rumored that their next flagship will support Qi).
Btw, Xiaomi did copying Apple. Not only their MIUI interface is exactly iOS look-a-like, most of their current line-ups are largely similar to iPhone 6's design (including the camera bump which they mock in the past... I'm talking to you, Mi 5X/Mi A1). Luckily, Mi 6 design has different feel thanks to it's trim. So it's not surprising that Xiaomi will do whatever Apple do. Whether Apple being the first or not.

FYKI Xiaomi devices Don't Even look like Apple Iphones Anymore.
Apple Devices are outdated even by Xiaomi's Standards

1 - impossible to use while charging, depending on what you wanna do
2 - it is worse for battery compared to via usb

How in the world saying Apple moving on their own pace because they own their platform proved my bias? How do you get that? Do they not own their platform? Are their using android as the platform to ship their devices? The answer to those are no, which means my conclusion were right.
You on the other hand, can't write a sentence to save your life, and when you finally do, can't contain your biases. That is the difference btw between my posts and yours.

So qualcomm has techonology that can enable wireless charging on metal phones then why doesnt anyone implement it and btw wireless charging is just a gimick until you can lift your phone of the pad

And then, be the first to pay royalties and load them on their customers increasing the price with the excuse of being a premium or luxury product.

Where in my post do you see I said anything about them introducing wireless charging first? This is the problem on forums, some of you just can't have a productive conversation before your biases kicked in and take it personally. Inductive charging was not invented by any android oem's, it's a standard anyone can add to their devices at anytime. My answer was to simply point out that because Apple have their own platform, and because they control it, they can move at their leisure (which is true btw). No where did I say they invented or introduced anything first, grow up.
I am a fan of tech, not a fanatic like a lot of you. Which is the reasons some on here are quick to take industry standards as android inventions. Things such as oled, lte, nfc etc. Those were not invented by any android oem's btw, so stop it with those bs.
