KeyserSoze, 23 Sep 2017Does the Moto G5S Plus have NFC for use with Android Pay? ... moreIs the international/ global versión??

Does the Moto G5S Plus have NFC for use with Android Pay? All $300 phones should have NFC or no deal. Even cheapie $150 phones like the LG Stylo 3 Plus have NFC so I don't want to hear excuses.

I ordered a 64GB model, they had a special, $50.00 off plus I discovered that if you add it to the cart and then start to leave, a window popped up with another 5% off. Total $284.99 for the 64GB, 4GB RAM model. So I ordered one even though I said I'd never own another Motorola after they failed to deliver the promised Nougat update to the Moto X Pure Edition I'm using now. I just couldn't find anything else in this price range to beat it and I'm also hooked on the Motorola notification screen. Oh well, they got me...

$279/349 are very high prices for these phones

            No update for you

Merwyn Fernandes, 22 Sep 2017What's the Big Deal About Updates Most of the people don't ... moreYeah, you are right that Moto phones have good community support but it hurts as My Moto G2 Officially updated 2 times Lollipop and Marshmallow but now they changed the policy and biggest drawbacks with custom ROMs is that you can't download Moto app which degrades the camera performance.

Arif238, 22 Sep 2017Moto officially announced that G series device will get onl... moreWhat's the Big Deal About Updates Most of the people don't even keep their Phones for 1 year and during that span only 1 major Android Update is Released

Companies want you to upgrade to their latest phone Not stick to their older devices by giving updates

                It's all about making profit

Even after that if people want to keep their devices Motorola releases kernel sources and supports official bootloader Unlocking And Motorola Devices have Great community Support Hence you can always get Custom Roms

Moto officially announced that G series device will get only One major Update. So there's no reason to buy Moto G series phone anymore.
Motorola forgot that why Moto G was so popular midranger but without update there is nothing so pleasing about G series.

Moto G5S Plus is really just a larger screen version of the G5 Plus. G5 Plus's camera was mediocre, G5S Plus has had some bad reviews about it's dual camera. The Moto X4 would keep people happy now that it's on Project Fi, plus it's got good dual cameras.
