Nokia is the best, but is symbian again, symbian os cannot compete to android, ios, bada,

    Symbian OS need improvement

    >atleast 512mb ram
    >atleast 800 or 1ghz processor
    >better UI AND INTERFACE Like android, ios, bada superb excellent,
    >atleast 400x800 resolution
    >atleast flash support 10.2

    SYMBIAN ANNA IS NOT ENOUGH,

Symbian os has change it name, like cupcake, donut, eclair, froyo, gingerbread, honeycomb, ice cream IS COPYCAT

Symbian Anna is smooth but is bad interface,

Symbian Anna Change new icon but not so good interface,

Symbian Anna has Qwerty portrait keyboard but is not good design,

Symbian Anna New browser 3x faster, is only 256mb ram and ARM11 processor? Are you sure 3x faster?

For Nokia DIE hard fans its better to wait meego or windows phone better powerfull device, hardware and not outdated like symbian OS,

    x7?
    Lack of internal memory
    No autofocus
Symbian Anna is outdated only name has change and some little improvement but theres nothing a big changes like UI,INTERFACE,homescreen,

its really waste of money, just decide it wisely before you buy,

Nokia Pleased Released MEEGO This Year 2011, im sure Your profit sales will increased,

I thought the new CEO of nokia himself said that the company was obviously slacking off in developing its phones? I hope this will be the last batch of low end hardware that's being priced as upper mid-range.

Nokia really needs to release those dual-core WP7 handsets ASAP.

So is it 256 or 2356 comments ?

Too bad the popularity of Nokia doesn't reflect in its smartphone sales.

          [deleted post]nice statistics !
nokia will be popular 4ever untill they don't changed their brand name.
if they change brand name(nokia) then the new brand name will definitely rock the world because of their after sales customer service.
nobody can get this kind of success with symbian nokia get.
if samsung, lg and even sony ericsson never reach the success if they leave android.they are still alive because of android.
wp7 is not doing well, but it will rock as soon as possible because nokia adopt wp7...
best of luck nokia for the great future. u r the truly future beyond.

For those who are caught up in the power and ram hype! I have knowledge for you. There's not a mobile device on the market with the processor and ram amount that Nokia place in these devices that can perform the features that you see given with this device and run it smooth and competitive enough to compete with the high end Android and WP7 as well as IOS and Palm devices and software. Symbian was built right and has led the way for mobile products for years. You have excellent cameras and video recorders and hd capture and playback (720p), able to popular games like the other software companies games has smoothly as well but with Symbian they give you better power management(batter life). Nokia always leads the competion in hardware designs and extras that the others don't even with their higher processors and ram have- pentaband, first out with hdmi out put and USB on the go and mapping system that still have them number 1.

Well to be honest, only NOKIA and SONY ERICSSON make durable phones!
Im still seeing someone using Nokia 6600 and SE K700. The phones are still usable! Other manufacturers should follow because they are selling high priced phones, they are cutting their costs by producing phones that cannot withstand years of usage. They are just focusing on profit. Low cost and high selling price. And changing phones every year or even in less than a year is so impratical.

[deleted post]Given that the phone isn't even in the shops, yet, so you couldn't possibly have any actual 'hands on' experience of it, would you care to tell us why you think it "sucks"? On paper it seems to rock, and in the absence of any 'real world' experience I'd love to know what's driving you you to write it off already.

[deleted post]When an Android fanboy says that 680 MHz is not enough, it comes off as trolling for us, Nokia fanboys but have you guys ever thought that there's merit to what they say? We cannot deny that the hardware on the N8 is not outdated. Heck, even the N900 which was released in 2009 have a much capable CPU and the N8 was released in October last year. The parade of 680 MHz phones are caused by Nokia's slowness when it comes to producing phones. The Android fans who are dissing Nokia is telling us the painful truth. Even Nokia knows that they need to abandon Symbian just so it can compete against Android and iOS. Don't blame Elop for this. Elop cannot make a move that the majority of board members at Nokia would not approve.

[deleted post]Alright, I'll be painfully honest here. The N8 have a much better hardware than this X7. Afaik, the N8 was supposed to be released on last year's spring season. It was delayed until fall. That means that the hardware on the N8 was ready since around April of last year and it was not released until last October. Since the N8 is far superior than the X7, we can say that the X7 sucks when compared to the N8 which was released last year.

ex. Nokia Fans, 06 Jun 2011Yes, Nokia's Symbian is CPU power efficient, but you can't ... moreI have to agree with you here, buddy. 680 MHz was enough 2 years ago. Nokia's Symbian phones could use some extra power when browsing the net. 680 MHz isn't enough to provide a browsing experience that's on par with Android and iPhone. The Flash on S^3 is just Flash Lite 4 and it's junk compared to Flash 10.x found on Android phones.

Oh snap! This is probably the only non-trolling post I posted in weeks.

                                    SOME STATS:

For the course of a month (May 1 to June 5) there have been the following results:

153 NEWS GSMARENA posts (aprox.) out of that number 132 were about news about Samsung, LG, Apple, HTC, Blackberry, etc (Even Windows related). On all these articles, 6215 (six thousand two hundred and fifteen) people commented. So the average number is JUST 47 (47 people per article), being the highest in one of those articles 227 and the lowest number 5 comments.

During the same period of time, just 21 articles were about Nokia. In those poor 21 articles GSMARENA published, there have been 2356 (Two hundred fifty six) comments. Judging for the number, one can tell the average number of people who were interested in the news, for the better or the worse, is 112 people (112 comments per article). Being the highest number of comments 312 and the lowest 13.

These stats prove again that Nokia is still popular. It's not just a matter of quantity but quality. When there's news about Nokia, there's always a lot to say.

                                    Stay strong Nokia.
