Definitely current result is paid by Apple.
I've a proof and Don't know why this DXO ppl think they are too smart.
Check the images I've posted on DXO's website in comment section, one of the image I've checked they posted in review result is edited by Adobe Photoshop on windows m/c.
Checkout the below link where I posted Image Meta Info, which clearly shows that image of iPhone 8 plus was edited in Photoshop and then posted while Sony XZP's image was posted as is. So the non tech ppl feels that iPhone 8 Plus images are better than XZP's.

amateur photographers use phones
professional i dont think so
also whats the point to have a great camera when audio is terrible
i mean good 4k60fps but with low bitrate mono audio is terrible
for photos yes its not bad but its mostly software features not pure camera quality and software fails under different conditions
you can take same picture same light same place and get two different results
still i must say well done to apple but please dont make it such a big deal every phone above €300 will make nice pictures
to be honest everyone praise Samsung and Apple camera but when i check social media these phones are making the worst pictures

Fla... moreThe iPhone 8 now supports slow sync flash, which keeps the shutter open for a bit longer, letting in some of the ambient light, making the image look more natural and not as contrasty as with regular flash images.

How is the selfie taken from iPhone8 plus is so bright? Flash can only lit up the area to an extent but in that image whole area is bright. Please someone explain. And sorry for my English

Hmm, the screenshots supplied do give the impression that this is sponsored by Apple (especially seeing that, he has not just given the samples but has also gone through the pain of taking screenshots of the iOS camera interface).
But, wow, those are some stunning photos. Indeed, the new iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X (especially) look like they have some very interesting, capable and powerful front and back camera's. It will be interesting to pit them against the Note8 and do an all-out shootout. Plus throw in the S8+, LG V30, U11, Huawei P10 Plus, Pixel XL, OnePlus 5 and XZ Premium because the more the merrier.
