Only read a few comments but find it funny to see droid fans hating on a post about an apple product, everyone has their own tastes no one will ever like or want everything you do so lets stick to our own and stop being a hater.

Just as a fun comparison, two reasonably similar tv's from LG. They come with the same abilities, same resolution on the same screen diagonal, one a Oled panel, the other normal Led . The only real difference is the speaker setup (which may take a small bit of the extra powerdraw). They both were released this year too. Oddly enough, the Oled tv has a significantly higher powerdraw listed. So much for the much better efficiency.

Why reduce the battery capacity if efficiency has been increased?
This only means one thing, you are limiting the increase.

When iPhones went from 4 inches to 4.7 inches all Apple did was to re release the iPhone 5 with a bigger screen add Apple Pay and call it the iPhone 6.
2 years later if on contract you were buying the same phone with a larger screen

It's cheap and inferior, but if you're willing to dig deeper in your pocket you'll get 5S. The choice is yours too... That's just business basic.
And in android realm, 6GB RAM on cheap Chinese phones vs 6GB on HTC U11 are total different experience, iFans wouldn't know that.
Maybe only Lagsung which come with heavy price tags and big RAM that doesn't delivers and gives bad reputation to Android since they're the dominant one.
I see barely any lag at all with 4GB RAM HTC, LG, and even my 4 years old Motorola Droid Maxx (2013) with 2GB RAM and ancient Snapdragon S4Pro chipset
BTW, 1000$+ iPhone X with 3GB RAM is always laughable to common sense.... :)

Looks like the iPhone 8/8 Plus have better battery life than their predecessors. Longer than the Note8's as well although Whostheboss makes the OnePlus 5 and S8+ look superior than the iPhone 8 duo.
The X should have fantastic battery life especially when playing videos thanks to OLED. A11 Bionic not only outperforms its competition, it's efficient at 10nm as well. The 8/8 Plus isn't such a bad model to upgrade to.

+ Longer battery life
+ Faster SoC, same as X
+ Better camera, same as X
+ $200-$300 cheaper than X
+ No lines, plenty in stock
I don't like the Plus models but it's that year again to pick it like last year's. Telephoto and extra 1 hr 20 min SOT is enough to get it over the regular 8.
Most ho-hum iPhone release ever, but maybe that's a good thing for would be buyers skipping the X. 8/8 Plus could be the last design to feature a home button.

2716 mAh and this they call an Innovation.
They should make phone with stats and specs of Iphone X and battery of Oukitel K1000 max and Voilaaa we all could have excellent phone.
But now we get just a big expensive brick with bitten top and minimum durability.
Why to buy formula one if gas storage is as big as can of coke?

How i know i use android with 3 Gb ram and Snapdragon 820 and the phone does not lagg and i am a heavy gamer.
By the way 95% people using phone only for making photos calling and messaging or brownsing web. You cant compare here because these things will even an andoid phone with 512 ram do with ease. Anyway after a year even an apple phones starts lagging.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus, it was my main phone for 12 months and I use it every other day as a backup phone and kind of as an "iPad" lying around the house for 2 years now. The battery is still excellent. iPhones have the best quality and last twice as long as any Android.

I'm kinda surprised because in the keynote they said it would only have 2 more hours than the iPhone 7. This seems like it should deliver more than that. 3GB of RAM is more than enough for iOS. The only reason iPads have 4GB is because of split screen multitasking.
