It is a digital IS ... any optical stabilisation is better,

I still prefer my Hero 5 Session... It's so convenient. I would only go back to the full Black series if they removed the touch screen. Motorcycle, Snowboard and water use I never look at the view finder area. If you don't know how to mount and point a Hero camera, you really should learn lol.
I use my Hero 3+ Black as a secondary for landscape/scenery shoots. Session for up close.
But the Fusion's overcapture is mindblowing, definitely something I want (almost $900 CDN though).

Still, it seems that it can't do 1080p / 240fps (only 120fps). It depends on how important that mode is to you.

Well, I guess, Good morning GoPro, so nice of you to join us... :D
Anyhow jokes apart, I like this cam's waterproof ability without the case. :)
But, my thinking is that we can't have a top of the line world class hardware for just one purpose and that's to shoot videos... It would be like a waste of hardware's horsepower.
I think high performance mobile phones are the future instead, and not these action cams.... I could be wrong though.

These things make superb dashcams btw. Excellent quality footage. Quick release mechanism makes it easy to remove the GoPro from your dashboard when you leave the car. (My Hero had a curved plastic mount that stuck to the top of the dashboard.)

But no support what so ever. I have problems with the hero 5, but gopro won't reply on tickets or Facebook support.
