Well everyone complain about the ram in Sony did they question the same on ip8 , pixel,samsung etc

    we had expectation when it is Sony Ericssson, since name change, nothing great in it, even though z5 & xz premium version still fall behind for competators.

      Not, just like the XZ, X and Z5. Absolutely nothing new, and still too expensive for what it offers.

        I'm waiting for the new phone of sony next year. The Z2 was the design that I like the most from all Xperia phones. I'm hoping that they make another model like that with metal or ceramic back.

No matter the manufacturer, problems are not to be kept as secrets - it's as simple as that. Also why would everyone be assumed to be some kind of fanboys if they don't agree with your opinions? And the most ridiculous thing is - you always assume everyone fans Samsung. It's best not to be a brand-tied sheep.

          The only Samsung-products I own are 2 of their SSD's in my PC. They make good SSD's, that's about it.

              I guess then, I wouldnt be named a fanboy if I just accepted all you guys bashing Sony and its fans here and there with unrelated and circumstantial stuff, and kept quiet.

              Feel free to bash, afterall you guys keep doing it constantly, and I ll indulge you with a bash or two in return.
              Until maybe you get the point, that constant Sony bashing is just fboyism you maybe should avoid, if you dont a bashing reply from likes of me. ;-)

It's the way you bash other manufacturers and only say positive stuff about Sony, like there never was or will be any problems with their devices. That's the issue, not using a Sony.

                And I personally wouldn't buy neither one of those. Samsung is a no-go due to those quality-issues and Sony's design with a small screen is holding it back too much, so I'm not interested into buying it.

                If I was to buy a new phone this year, I'd go with the LG V30 or Huawei's Mate 10 (the biggest variant, I love big screens). LG could have the boot-looping issue and Huawei might not get the fast updates, but I don't really have issues using EMUI on my Mate 9.

                  This is why I spend most of my time on Sony related threads, won't say I'm a fan as such, but I do root for Sony (certainly have purchased more of their products than Samsung's over recent years) I just think they are capable of better than what we have been getting, I'm certainly not alone in that view.

                  So no not going to give Samsung or their fans much of my time.

                  But on every single Sony thread on this site without exception there is you, attacking everyone who doesn't share your devotion, calling people out as fanboys whilst denying the claim yourself.

                  Look, say whatever the you want about me Tann, call me a Samsung fanboy If that somehow makes things simple for you. But don't try to deny that you yourself are anything but an absolute Sony fanboy. Anyone with half a brain will be able to see right through your attempts.

                      Make believe is simply what you like to play, reality is that the 'Fanboy' term fits you better than anyone else on here.

                      I was simply suggesting this whole article is kind of pointless and not worth arguing over, but as usual all it takes is one mention of Sony and there you are, like a flash.

                                  As for the Sammy fboys being in denial, well they are like all fboys in that regard (you Sony lot included of course). At least the Sammy fboys find some comfort, and thus help heal their wounded ‘sammytastic’ (jeez how old are you again?) feelings in the fact that their device will sell more in one weekend that the XZ1 is likely to sell over its entire shelf lifetime.

                                  This whole article was designed to induce the kind of fboy vs fboy bickering that you have all to predictably been engaging in over the last few days. There’s no other point to it, it won’t prove anything useful regarding the XZ1.

                                      Why would you or anyone else, mentioning selfcracking Z3 issues and calling me names along the way, buy or use a selfcracking screen issued S8/S8+ over a cracking issue free XZ1/XZ Premium, in 2017?
                                      Only reason I can think of is...fnboyism.
                                      Or you could explain it better to us Sony fans here?

                                        XZ1 Compact is hot, but the regular XZ1 isn't. Battery life is average, plus is kinda big compared to other similar screen sized phones.
