SO ofc it was no longer the case that sony would have anything stand out anymore. Granted the 2017 lineups are decent, the only star of the show is the xz1c which has the best battery life of sony. The XZ1 battery life way too small and the XZP could have been better.

Apple's tech is from other manufacturers, most of Apple's "innovation" has been around with others - sometimes for years like wireless charging. About the only "innovation" is the camera. The rest of it - meh. I'll give it that Apple may have the best processor right now though.

I feel so bad for you, you are digging too much in the past depending on old poor references to degrade Xperia, while the issues of Samsung devices are always the news of every time especially these two years 2016 and 2017.

Certain phones today HAVE the selfcracking issue, Sony phones HAD the issue.

Ck, 02 Oct 2017You are absolutely wrong! Sigh. There was even a dedicated topic on XDA for Z2's faults, there were some faulty batches and the units all had similar quality-issues (for example, the gaps near rear camera and screen). https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2757544
I know the link and this message gets deleted, but at least some people will be able to verify it. No reason to deny it, especially when there are plenty of user experiences in that topic to back it up. :-)
