There's still plenty of managers out there that are terrible at their job, because they refuse to evolve with the changing market and end up as dinosaurs.

Again, this is overpriced.
Compete with OnePlus/Nokia/Blackberry at the $499 level... then this phone becomes a compelling value, if one could overlook the discounted LG G6 that is.

It needs to loose much more to even convince this is a good deal

Nobody in the U.S. cares about Sony smartphones yet they are still priced high.

They need to discount this all the way to the bargain bin section. Nobody is gonna buy this ugly phone for more than $100.

UltimateZeroSeconds, 02 Oct 2017They steal the show because of the price drop very fast. It's because those are its competitor phones. The iPhone X and Galaxy Note 8 are the next generation while Sony still tries to keep up with the S8 and 7 and pricing their (not really new or impressive by any means) flagship above those

Sony has terrible service in US. I had mine 2 times serviced (each time a month and a half). And, I had to pay for the shipping too. On top of bad service, they announced that they wont service any cellphone out of guarantee. This will make me to stay away of this brand.

However, I can't survive by the end of 2017 with such a bezels!

XZ1 would have been a good phone if priced correctly. At € 500 or 450, it would be a real competitor. But at this price, the € 500 Galaxy S8 and € 550 iPhone 7 easily steal the show.

Hmm next year is your SONY..Don't worry... Whos hate now? They apologize next year because they don't know..... Something special coming...... 2018 for SONY

If you're okay with having no U.S. warranty, but having the fingerprint reader pre-enabled, 1shopmobile has it for only $600 USD.

And people will still ignore this master piece and buy featureless smartphones just because it doesn't have fruit logo, how ironic.

I guess it's not HdR, right? I would assume it doesn't have any other technologies after the article cherrypicked two things the screen doesn't have.
