The longer I look at that awful excrement brown, the more I get a serious nausea.
As if that gaunt 18:9 wasn't awful enough already.
Really sad that it got so much worse than the Mate 9. They should've used that limited edition red as regular colour instead of that excrement brown:

What was Huawei thinking when they designed the back of the phone? It looks awful.
The Mate 9 Pro has a much, much better design.

The Mate 9 looks so much better- especially the camera module. That should have been retained on the glass strip instead of punching 2 separate holes

To be honest, my favourite brown was the one from the Mate8. Nevertheless kudos to Huawei for always offering multiple, classy colours. Those are not over-the-top but still look gorgeous.

I dont like 18:9 ratio. Its screen is smaller and not as wide as 16:9. Biggest stupidity is the Note 8, so narrow to take notes and kills productivity on large screens. Looks like a stick too...

Loved the blue color. Not so sure about this coffee color.
And I would again request GSMArena to report the display area when comparing two devices with different aspect ratio. Yes, Mate 10 looks narrower and shorter than Mate 9, and retains the 5.9 inch display. But display area is bigger in Mate 9.
