Two cameras? Ha! Try two headphone jacks. Or two batteries.

zodiacfml, 08 Oct 2017Double the battery! No flagship phone has decent battery li... moredouble your money that you pay to them and they will make that phone especially made for you ....

Double the battery! No flagship phone has decent battery life! Low end phones have bigger batteries!
Double the Type-C connector if they to ditch the 3.5mm jack.
Double the protection. Get rid of the stupid glass backs. If there was a big Samsung phone with an Active branding, I'd take it. The S8 Active is not even available in many countries.
Double the camera sensor size even if it means smaller camera lens aperture. I still need OIS though.
Double the customization. I don't like white backgrounds of most apps for phones with AMOLED screens as the blacks are addicting.
Double the color management and HDR! Apple is doing this right with their iPhones. Android doesn't have at all. Samsung at least has the color space display modes but it is not automatic and capture photos/videos with a larger color space such as DCI-P3.

One for charging and one for OTG (which is of course interchangeable). It's so frustrating when I want to transfer some files to flash disk but the battery is low..
2 USB ports (beside the removable battery) is much more practical and usable than bezelless screen, curved screen or unibody design..

Having a Xenon flash for photo lighting and LED lights for video lighting also very welcome to enhance already excellent smartphone camera capabilities even further..
Just like the one in the Sony Ericsson K850i Cyber-shot, Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot and Sony Ericsson Satio back in good old days when phones are not so thin like nowadays..

Dual hybrid card slots! So you can put 2 simcards + 2 mmc in it!

An iPhone with two SIM slots. Hybrid is also fine.

Better to give two phones when one breaks or gets water.

Double headphone jack is great and how about 3 flashone xenon for photos and two leds for videos

Anonymous, 08 Oct 2017Smartphone need DUAL-OS, both android and apple.. that's it... moreGood one!
But if I could choose, I'd pick neither Android nor iOS. Instead a traditional GNU/Linux distro on a smartphone (Debian-based), say LMDE, as both iOS and Android are a bit immature compared to 'complete' OS.
USB audio wasn't a thing before Android 5.0, linux had it since 1998.
Low latency audio was just announced with Oreo, yet in desktop OSes, it's present since 2000.

Samsung F510, double sided, double battery!
I have one, love it to bits, if not for the proprietary Samsung OS which was very limited at the time.

Every phone should have had two USBs (micro or C). One for charging and one for OTG (of course interchangeable). With just one, you can't charge and use USB devices at the same time. Big fail if you want to turn phone into computer or SOB.

Dual capacitive buttons - I remember few years back, my colleague having a phone with capacitive buttons both on the top and bottom bezels. So, whichever way you pick the phone you can directly use it without rotating into the correct portrait position. Dont remember if it had dual mic/earpiece though.

3 cameras for either R/G/B color, meaning about 3x bigger pixels. Certainly better than 2 cameras, one old(rgb) and one older(no rgb). It would be awesome jump seeing the difference in 1cmos vs 3cmos used in camcorders.
