the pictures look stunning, but when you go Pixel ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) peeping , you can really see extreme noise levels in the entire scene ( maybe it's a portrait mode thing ) , and heavy but good post processing algorithm ( unlike Sony's water color like ) idk if they look good enough for a 98 on DxO

Nothing to write home about. Dynamic range is really great and that's that.

Google gained from post processing experience with both Google Glass and Google Photos.
If you check sites about Google Photos, whatever you upload doesn't lose much in quality. Check the link below. I feel like Google is Peter Piper from HBO's Silicon Valley. They absolutely nailed data compression without any noticeable quality loss through the naked eye.

The videos are not impressive... Looks like a LOG profile, ready to be colored :) but isn't!
I see something exactly oposite with photos (btw, amazing), comparing the dinamic range.

Heck, I have access to an old Pixel here and some of the photos I've taken with it are about as good too. Google is checking all the right boxes, I am only not crazy about the design and the fingerprint unlock on the back side.

Looks too good. I'll have to wait for photos taken by the team and not these handed over photos.
