I am loving the camera resolution increase.. 12MP resolution is too low.. 20+MP is the only way to go..LUMIA 950's 20MP are extinct.. Sony's 20MP are plagued by software quality.. This Huawei Mate's 20MP might finally beat my still standing Nokia 808

Some comparison of the 808 vs so called "best" cameraphone of today

808 is still the reigning cameraphone king

AnonD-695347, 10 Oct 2017I feel you bro, this new 18:9 ratio trend is so messed up, ... moreSays the one who prefers 4:3 ratio of the old phones when the market starts to shift to 16:9.. It happened before dude.. And somehow you already get used to 16:9.. After using the 18:9 for a while you will forget about 16:9.. If you refuse to change then go back to your 4:3 screens.. Next after 18:9 the market will shift towards and even wider 21:9 format.. Only wise people can anticipate the future.. Others just whine

This is how you do the battery capacity. I'm intrigue whether this will be an OLED or LCD display as both are highly possible.

So there will be Mate 10 pro with higher resolution

AnonD-695347, 10 Oct 2017I feel you bro, this new 18:9 ratio trend is so messed up, ... moreit only goes to show that there isn't a single objective standard for beauty and ugly. just because you think the new aspect ratio is "messed up", it will never necessarily follow that everybody else will. get off your high horse. you're so conceited to think your views are right and others' aren't just because they're different. in this world, you are a tiny speck. you are nothing

i'm expecting the kirin 970 to be a beast.

AnonD-695347, 10 Oct 2017I feel you bro, this new 18:9 ratio trend is so messed up, ... moreyeah exactly, especially web browsing or books reading.....some ppl think that "oh the phone size is small and we are getting big screens".....while in fact the usability of the 18:9 screens will match a much smaller one. for example, 6 inch 18:9 almost equals to around 5.5 to 5.6 inches of usability.

People judge when they look at phone, from overall, and think this 18:9 thing is more beautiful compared to 16:9, but if thay focus on the screen itself, especially if they load a text or web page on this kind of phone, they will notice its UGLY by far.

Its no secret GSMA added screen ratio to phone specs.

i hate the new aspect ratio of 18:9.......i really don't understand whats wrong with bezeless 16:9 screens....why all the bezeless flagships of all brands moved to this damn aspect ratio....not one or two.....but ALL literally... :(

Huawei Mate is the flagship that every single geek dreams with. If it was manufactured by Samsung (a brand known even by my grandma) it would sold twice more than the best selling iPhone

Huawei+LG Fan, 10 Oct 201720 + 23MP sounds juicy. Hope image quality is great too.I wonder if lossless zoom will still need available since the bw camera isn't much higher in resolution.

Phone makers seem to treat 1440p as a luxury, for a screen that size 1080p looks pixelated to me

So it's even narrower than Nexus 6P
