India is getting the latest releases from Samsung (even if some crap, like the Galaxy J2 2017, but ...)
Meanwhile, Brazil received the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 in the last week of September. Detail: The tablet in question was released in March 2016. And still runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Lenovo Tab4 8 plus at Rs.16990 is far better. It has FHD display, snapdragon 625 Octa, fingerprint, stereo speakers, 4G-lte. Lenovo tab48 plus is a better device in every department with lesser price compared to Samsung tab A inferior specs.

SKR..., 10 Oct 2017Why samsung even makes tablets?? There's hardly anyone who ... moredo you know any tablets BESIDES the Galaxy tab S3 that uses a powerful SoC?
seriously. tablets (unless you are referring to the apple counterpart.) are not MEANT for demanding tasks. what specs are you expecting for a 275$ tablet?

Not everyone needs a tablet with a powerful SoC and 4k screen. My current tablet is the Tab 4 8.0 which I bought used. All I use it for is reading, playing a few non-demanding games/emulators, watching some videos, and browsing the web. This is perfect for me. I'll just wait for a better deal though. This is a bit overpriced for what it is.

It doesn't mention as to why this piece of tech exists. I can't think of one reason.
