Last year the mate9 runs android 7.0 before the others and so does mate10 this year.

I pasted the link above for others to go thru if u r interested, gpu optimisation on kirin 960 is quite bad (huge power consumption compare to exynos/snapnagon) Hopefully huawei will look into it and avoid such issue in mate 10.

Well, it is a great news that huawei will install Oreo in their system so we can use them as an experiment.
as a reminder for you, not many apps are ready to optimize with Oreo, so plenty of apps will not work well with Oreo.

If....if it is 12 cores it would be great! I will definitely purchase 1 unit and scrap off my Samsung note 4.
if it is only g72 mp8 then its a big disappointed.

So, even if the 970 would be faster in theory (doubt it), in practice it wouldnt.

My Mate 9 has gotten updates about monthly, so I guess they are really trying their best.

And so with 12 cores the Kirin 970 has a much stronger GPU than Exynos 8895.

Which is why those with older models, looking for Oreo, shouldn't get their hopes up until the 10 is released.

Thought the regular Mate 10 was slated to come with a 16:9AR 6 inch screen. That's what I am looking forward to, as well as the big 4000mAh battery plus all the other top specs.
Ooooh how I also wish we could also have dual boot up...choice of either stock Android or their own UI with less crapware. Very doable...so why not????

Huawei is good phone but software support is slow, also firmware not available easily i am samsung user from 2011 but from last 1 month i use Huawei P10 its outstanding phone.

I really hope Huawei will not exceed 6 inch display or it will at least beat its previous flagship (mate 9) in size.
