So Expect to see 630 at the end of this year an 636 maybe in the next summer or next autumn, most likely christmast 2018 so about a year From now.

SD 636 is an updated version from previous model, SD 630 which mean some improvement from octa core 2,2 GHz A53 to octa core 1,8 GHz Kryo 260 (the same as SD 660 used it only with smaller clock), Adreno 160 GFLOPS to Adreno 175 GFLOPS, and MAYBE 15% - 20% improvements on Antutu score.
Can wait for an update version from SD 660. Since 630 becoming 636, perhaps 660 will become 666, DEVIL INSIDE. Perhaps, Kryo 280 (which used in 835) or A73 maybe with smaller clock (such as 2,0 GHz), Adreno 513 with 280 GFLOPS, and about 110K - 120K on Antutu scores.

...but its not an improvement in the Multicore score, that's an improvement in the single-core score, which is much more important. When comparing the QSD 835 to the QSD 845.
This boost is thanks to Qualcomm's Cortex A73 customised cores, unlike their off-the-shelf cores in the QSD 835, that they've been designing for awhile. These new "Kryo 300" cores are now almost equal to the Cortex A75, which we won't see until the end of 2018 (Samsung Note9/Huawei Mate11). We saw a similar scenario with Qualcomm designing the custom Cortex A9 = Krait 300 microarchitecture (QSD 200/400/600) which mimicked the Cortex A15. And again, with the custom Cortex A15 = Krait 400 microarchitecture (QSD 800/801/805) which mimicked the Cortex A17. And once more with the custom Cortex A57 = Kryo 100 microarchitecture (QSD 820/821) which mimicked the Cortex A72 cores.
It should be slightly faster than the Apple A9 SoC in single-core speeds, but slower than the Apple A10 SoC. In terms of Multicore, it should be well above the Apple A10 but slightly below the Apple A11 SoC.
Overall, I would say its almost on-par with the Apple A10 SoC... which is an impressive feat, well done Qualcomm!

QC provided some SD835 samples to any OEM that wants it, just to develop the product and showing it to the press. And based on a recent report posted here, Samsung still has called dibs to the first batch of SD845.

When this can handle 1080@120fps despite being a mid range chip then why can't their high end chip handle 1080@240fps or that's a camera bottleneck?

Anonymous, 17 Oct 2017Who cares, we want to know when is snapdragon 845 is coming... moreSD845 might be announced at CES or earlier/later than that, and the first one to use it might be LG, as QC is moving with TSMC (Apple's current SoC manufacturer) from Samsung to manufacture the SD845, and they promised LG to help them get some units earlier than any other brands that also use their SoCs, and second one to use them might be Sony and Samsung, given how Sony was able to unveil a smartphone powered by SD835 when it was still exclusive to Samsung and no other manufacturers are able to unveil at least one.

A number of sources last week reported that Samsung will take the entire initial run on 845 for the Galaxy S9. So, in answer to that question, the information almost certainly points to Samsung.

7nm would make a larger difference to 14nm than 10nm, but not as much as the jump from oven toaster 28nm to airconditionized 14nm.

But earlier the rumors said there's two new chips 635 and 635 plus but here we are with 636 I think they bypass that two chips that were rumored
the sd670 would be first 6xx serie to have 10nm , will be built in 2x A75 + 6xA55 , and with this specs it would beat the new kirin 970 that uses old arch
