Amazing devices. And very good they did not remove the normal USB ports in favor of modern USB C ports only.

The core i7-8650u is not coffee lake , it's a kaby lake refresh processor (14nm++/kabylake r)

Wow. The maxed 15 inch one seems pretty future proof, at least if the SSD doesn't fail at some point. However the price for base versions is way higher than l would be prepared to pay for a laptop without a real GPU.

This is for like the elite of elite powerhouse PC users in design. $2,500....and anyone in the area of design knows 13 in. won't suffice, you'll need that extra real estate in a 15 in. to really get work done. As a graphic designer, this has me drooling, but I in no way could ever justify spending what is the equivalent of a cheap used car on a premium laptop.

1: UHD Graphics 620 are the same as HD Graphics 620 for KabyLake. Intel just wanted to emphasize on the fact that their iGPUs can encore and decode UHD content and support hadware HEVC processing.
                    2: Is the GTX 1060 in Max-Q?
3: The base 15 inch model is sooooo expensive. I bet adding the dGPU can make them raise the price to at least 500$ more.
