WTF?, 15 Jun 2011Now they say we Desire users will get the upgrade after all... moreHave you read the comments on Engadget yesterday? People were using expletives, smack, and other nasty stuff. HTC have read all those and realized that people are mad. Give those guys who talked smack the credit for making HTC do a U-turn. If not for them then HTC wouldn't bother upgrading the Desire.

You see that guys? You talk smack online and these companies gets scared. If you guys didn't used offensive language then HTC would not have made a 180. Now, we just need to get gsmarena loosen up a bit and not be Nazi's when it comes to posts. The mods here are Nazi's.

They based their decision on insufficient hardware power so what have they done??? i bet it slows the device down to a crawl like the eventuall hero upgrade.!!

Shaggy, 15 Jun 2011Released March 2010 this phone is ancient history. I'm sad ... morei would agree with u, if they lowered the price down to half, then i would gladly change phone every year! Desire was HTC's flagship and it was HTC's faithfull who opted to buy it instead of SGS or iphone, and it was sold for a price of a gaming laptop (as with other companies' flagships!). they can't sell u a mobile for 400-500€ and then treat it like dirt next year in order to sell their newer products,, that an irrespectfull and unethical way to treat old costumers!
