Neither look like a premium product in red, but it all about individual preference. If I had to chose then my preferred model, is the Sony. The apple look like a retro 80's Adidas or Kappa jacket.

People protested it as "a shame" not to sell it outside Japan, but Sony might not have a business interest on various countries. Since a bunch of "clowns of marketing": Samsung, Apple and Huawei, will troll everything related to Sony.

I'd totally dig it if it was same colour, metal or glass and Xperia XZ1 compact.
Xzp is too big for me.
Xz1 compact "plastic" material doesnt look "premium"
Xz1 "red" colour is a girly pink
