22 October 2017
While there are four models with that name, it's mainly between the vanilla and the Pro... but the distribution of features is just so odd.

Mate 10 Pro is amazing. It is better than the SD 845 phones that are coming as Kirin is better than Android's Snapdragon and iOS's Apple Bionic

      - camera hump, that means you have always put on a case to protect the lens.
      - color and design looks old, especially the dual camera lens design.
      - doesn't adopt a stronger battery care technology for a sealed battery
      - flagship should be all with IP65/IP68, IP67 is slightly not enough for my expectation
      - back fingerprint scanner. You can't unlock the phone when it is on a table.

If Huawei hire so many talents why don't they made a foldable 4 inch(display) smartphone and can expand to 8 inch but must with a very stable and durable designs? But they only create this one and it is nothing attraction.

LG V30 and Samsung Note 8 also have the 3.5mm headphone jack and they are both IP 68 rated.

p10 plus or mate 10? any idea guysssss

Hopefully Huawei wont repeat "MemoryGate" coz according to Huawei Production Manager, Bruce Lee.. Mate 10 currently shortage production due to short supply of part & couldn't keep up with demand..

That FP scanner mounted in the front makes the phones ugly (For me) because it's look like any other chinese phones out there.

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2017Seriously? You don't care how convenient it is, you hate it... moreConvenient for my hands but my eyes is not satisfied. Every individual has it's own taste and it's just my opinion, plus! I don't mind if a fingerprint scanner is a rear-mounted one.

Get a tablet, computer or TV if you want high resolution. The tiny screens aren't giving you the full potential of the high resolution, but it sure kills the battery. How long can you use vr on the resolution? 3-4 hours if you are fully charged. And how often do you really use vr on daily basis? Not as often as you use the phone. Fact is, it doesn't belong on the phone.

I'd recommend you hold this phone in your hand first before making a decision. The vanilla Mate 10 is wider than I thought and makes it less ergonomic than narrower devices. I'll probably hold out till next month when I can compare it to the Mate 10 Pro in store before making a decision but I'm leaning towards the Mate 10 pro for the narrower body and water resistance. I almost exclusively use Bluetooth headsets so personally lack of 3.5mm jack is not going to affect me too much.
