Such a beautiful phone. I wish this could be more mainstream in the USA. I know it would catch on. It's beautiful and a beast.

I would put all my money into the second. I have a mate 10 pro and tested it in low light and its astonishing, the camera from the s8 stays miles behind (its not a bad camera not the best either, even compared with the P10).
Oh and I have tested both not just by looking ate the screen of the phone, but by putting both pictures in a monitor...

Guys stop whining over things that won't add anything in your life! With all these flagship nowdays you can never go wrong with any of their cameras, if one of the flagship has some points over another in a certain camera test that doesn't mean the other phone is inferior. The only area where maybe the superiority may count is in Low light performance, but again most flagship have up their game in this department. So as i always tell my friends, pick your poison and move on!!

I would rather rely on a detailed test result from Dx0 than from an anonymous commentator who did not do any test but still had the nerve to say that Dx0 is unreliable. Real life or Not :)

I have watched different YouTube mate 10 pro camera reviews as per pre- production software and it's doing awesome against the Note 8, iPhones 8 plus and others, so am sure when the Mate 10 series will be out with final software will be marvelous! Please accept and move on, or you have a phobia of Huawei being on top??

Huawei is really shaping up their flagship mate series. Apart from the display and screen to body ratio it feels better sammy's latest flagship.

All I can see is Haters here can't accept the Truth. Just because of it is Huawei not Samsung or LG or iPhone that they've been known the barndname for the rest of their life. it shows that they don't even know what is best for the picture qualities and trying to blame the tester. Really boring with all trash comments.

L0lip0p, 21 Oct 2017No free phone, no test i guess, just see how long they take... moreReally, I think that some people are still relying DxOMark on camera scores, but fyi to those people who don't know, DxOMark is a pay-to-win thing, some smartphone scores are inconsistent, some better smartphone camera are rated lower than some smartphones that takes photos that are not as good as the one rated lower ones. Now thanks to the new bokeh and zoom protocol, it is unfair to see them rating them without looking at some extra features of the smartphone
