Shortly after the Nokia X7 became available in the United States, the other Symbian Anna running creation from the Finnish giant made it across the Atlantic as well. Of course, we are talking about the QWERTY...

Personally, I think Blackberry phones should only be used with their respective contracts to be used to their full potential. Comparing the 9900 to the E6, the berry provides more hardware (save for the -mandatory for a business phone IMO - front camera and the USB on-the-go which I also believe that is a useful tool to have) that may be necessary (NFC). The WiFi-hotspot shortcoming of E6 can be solved by an app (we've seen so in almost every recent smartphone platform in the last years). The boiling point will be a)the necessity of a Blackberry contract with its benefits and b)the price tag. The latter is almost sure to go to the E6's favor. Hopefully solely the corporate mail and messaging will be the only things that require the special contract on the berry, I wish the map function won't need that.

Since I don't intend to use the special features, E6 seems like the better "buyer" choice, unlike the 9900 which seems to be the better choice for the corporate to provide.

simple user, 17 Jun 2011I believe Nokia uses less powerfull cpu only to save battery. And because they don't need more.

The OS of Nokia is plain and Simple, without all the stuff of Android (most of them useless) and is focused to a Plain Use experience.

In fact, Symbian WAS one of the best OS never made, now, is outdated and old, but still very capable, and I believe Nokia sold 1000 of S40 phones than 5 android phones, because people don't want to spend a lots of money.

Here the Atrix 4G cost 1200 dlls. and a Nokia N8 cost 650 dlls so, people want to but 2 N8's instead 1 Atrix :D

Nokia has a very powerful presence at Lain America and Caribbean, most of the most recent updates cames for America LTA only, so they know can keep up good sales here. And people buy these pjones no matter what price have.

And in fact are the better option in low and mid priced phones, since all the others are just plain and boring phones. Nokia only need America's market for still in business, and buyers already are asking for the launch date of WP7 Nokia's :D

AnonD-10946, 17 Jun 2011ROFL, just like how you believe that WP7 is a good OS even ... moreI didn't report your post, that argue make me laugh.

And I had already 3 WP7 at my hands, maybe you are a little jealous or something but that I don't care. You even can go to Best Buy, CompUSA, SAMS, you name it, ther are PLENTY of test phones for play around without timelimit, so, anyone can have access to any davice you want. Even they leave you test it for know which one is better :D
so, if you live in some place that they don't let you that's not my problem at all. :D Also is not my fault have Verizon wireless CDMA :D hehehe there's the signal is the best around.

And I said AMERICAS with Nokia, AMERICAS is not only USA or Canada, is Mexico, Central America and South America. So read a little for now more about the world

I don't know you but really I don't want it at all. If you believe me or not that's not important to me.

One man cannot love everything. People will always have difference of opinion. If there were no differences then only one brand of a product in a respective category would be sold.

Where phones are concerned I only trust Nokia. Practical, reliable and basically water-resistant - if it drops in water, once it's dried it works again like new...how many phones have that on their resume?

One thing I rate about Nokia is that they always put telephony first then multimedia etc. after. Other manufacturers have long forgotten about the most important thing...telephony and telephony features...and focus on other areas like camera, music player and of late social networking. Just look at HTC's ChaCha. It'a all about Facebook. Why would someone want a phone with Facebook integrated everywhere in the phone???

I have a E71 and I can tell you that the E-Series is probably the best and most advanced smartphone money can buy. They are really advanced. It has every feature a human could ever need: built-in VOIP/SIP, 3rd party supported VOIP giving you the ability to make free calls via Yahoo, MSN, Skype and Google-Talk. There are so many more features like Networking with computers and being able to copy from phone to computer or log on to computers and modifying including deleting files from that computer. Print e-mails, text messages, notes etc. over Wi-Fi. I could go on and on and on. It manages all this with a 369Mhz processor that moves really fast. People keep complaining about the recent Nokias having 600Mhz and 680Mhz, well Symbian doesn't need 1GHz like Android. Symbian isn't clunky and bloated so why waste time putting in a 1Ghz? First of all 1Ghz would make the Nokia phones cost more and drain the batteries more quickly. Most importantly, Symbian doesn’t need 1Ghz speed so it would be a waste of Nokia’s money and consumers money. It has been said that a 600 or 680Mhz ARM processor running Symbian achieves the same speed of a 1Ghz running Android.

Once again, As far as I have seen, Nokia makes the most practical phones.
