Give me a phone with low speaker volume and I can deal with it.
Give me a phone with no headphone jack and I'll deal with it.
Give me a phone with unsatisfying button clicks and I can deal with it.
But give me a phone with a display problem and I'll throw it to the garbage bin without hesitation.

But the problem is there, and could definitely happen even on an OLED display.

And these are high end smartphones. What do high end smartphones have? High end processor. And what do we do with high end processors? We play games and other heavy stuff with it. And with games, fast pixel response is needed for an immersive gaming and that there will be no delay while playing; an issue where games, that require a very fast reflex from the user, hates the most .
After all, we deserve to expect that from a flagship phone in 2017 with high price tag.

This always happened with all my Super AMOLED phones, even my Galaxy S7. I though it was a problem inherent with the tecnology.
I'll check my S8 for this problem.

That's nitpicking. Of all the display issues signaled with this smartphone, i cannot say any of them is a dealbreaker. Pixel XL 2 is a great smartphone, and i would happily trade my Iphone 8+ for a brand new XL 2 in black.

I guess it's karma for Google for trying to remove the 3.5 mm headphone jack! :P
