I was talking about the "horns" and the black bar where the "Kinect" camera is placed is called a notch, right? Well, the "Kinect" is big in the first place and Apple wanted to make an all screen phone so to make it all-screen, they have to make compromises. Still, no bezels, chin and forehead (except that notch).

LOL was this a deliberate OnePlus type leak to the media as surely the girl/father can't be this stupid to be the first to upload a video of the X in the wild? Interestingly no signs of the face recognition being shown working!
That notch is a no go for me, why not just have a black bar across the full screen?

But I think Apple steals a bit because they always got most expensive and claim to be the best. Which they not in my opion.

-Its a new series different than previous one
-First series to use full screen or 18:9 ratio
-New features
1=10 10 is a 1 aka first of the series which means next year will come 9 and 11 or 12 or the 2nd of this type of series and knowing Apple they will make 9 same as 8 only bit bigger.
The X is not a continued series of the iphones its a new division such as Samsung Note series

It's possible they might yet do an iPhone 9 - though that seems doubtful since that would mean a 9S then a .... 10...again! So yeah. guess they will skip doing a 9 series.
So though the reason is different, you'd turn out right in that it conveniently puts the Apple model numbers 1 year ahead of Samsung
