Hey guys) it was fan to read all of your comments..
There is something more then just an old , boring, heavy phone..
The owner of the VERTU is a VIP client, book best hotels, fashion shows, events, restaurants.
Having this phone gives you a status, why not if you have money please spend them, its not about charity or something else.

When I was 5 my family were that poor that we were unable to eat meet for years believe me or not.. Thanks to my dad who worked that hard all his life we are able to buy as much Vertu phones as we like.

If you are not agree with something-you are jealous....

People buy designer items such as jewellery, cars etc.. if you can't afford a Vertu, don't complain about the price! Vertus are classed as an artwork, & you wouldn't be walking or getting onto a bus if you had one.. Gulfstream private jets are £15m each- they still sell, & their owners have the assets to buy them- the beauty of a free-market economy.

My guess is that it uses a Nokia charges as Vertu are owned by Nokia. They is a factory in Church Crookham (Fleet, Hants).

I would love to have one of these. It is all about looks and ex
clusiveness. The tech sheet comes second. After all a diamond ring has no other purpose of just look pretty and be very expensive. The same goes for Vertu or any other luxury phones.

No mention on the charger. Whats it made of anyway? Is it also handcrafted and signed? I cannot afford the phone so I might as well settle for a Vertu charger.

Arabs love these things. It's the same reason they'll buy a Bugatti Veyron - completely impractical but very unique.

Why do you think they've included 2 years of complimentary repairs? My Vertu failed within 6 months with very minimal use and it took a month to get it repaired. Then the phone fell out of the $500 custom case (catch failed) and it's gonna cost a couple grand to repair. At the end of the day it's still a Nokia.

i have kept in my hand a vertu signature: it's cold, heavy and sturdy. it's like having a revolver in your hands. very masculin, very unique. the sensation make all the money. personally i hate camera on such type of mobiles. it's so useless, especially on a vertu. i love signature most of all because it hasn't any camera. i hate vertu with cameras. vertu signature is incredible!!!!! like eating calamar instead of hot dogs

I think Vertu should turn their focus on the phones that keep breaking, instead of new designs.

The vertu is a division of NOKIA. It is like Roles Roys in cars.they are not like others.they are making a huge amount of profit from each car. vertu ____(i don't know the name)cost Rs 1cr in india.you will get a BMW 7 Seris car for 1 cr. Vertu&nokia makes lots of money from these phones.go nokia go... Rule the world.

I can't believe how many Vertu haters there are. If you think they're too expensive then don't buy them.
People buy these things because of their build quality and premium materials. And just because it doesn't come with 'smartphone-features' doesn't make it a bad phone.
See it like this: you can buy a chinese nobrand plastic watch with touchscreen, mp3-,videoplayback, games for 30USD these days. But it doesn't have the craftmanship and quality of a 10k Rolex watch, with no other functions than telling time.
