However To each their own. You might like it or want to switch back over time.
My one piece of advice. If you love it....Oh well. Then stick with it and love it.
BUT! If you doubt it after a while, then go back. Maybe keep the phone as a secondary but not a mane one. Because if you doubt it or want something else you dont want to get stuck. Many people that wont to go back or switch feel trapped by imessaging and purchased apps.

And now they are just cutting corners to make up for it all. What might cost you a little more in quality and proper advertising/releasing will save you in the future. OMG you have to cut a tad out of your millions in profit. It's the end of the World.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2017I told you even 1 year ago that because of the low sales, L... moreExcept Amoled is still superior in almost every way.
Yes it is. Ohh it can burn in....Well their LCDs had image retention too.
And LCDs can suffer from backlight issues that Oled doesn't. And burn-in on good quality displays is not a major issue more than any other display related problem. Including ones that can happen to both or LCD specific ones.

Amoled- better colors accurate or saturated, true blacks, best contrast, less reflective, less overall power consuming, better in sunlight, better HDR, thinner, more malleable, etc.

-LCD... less power consuming on all white...But as Samsung and now LG are showing us....Even that doesn't guarantee much with how efficient these displays are...
Oh yeah...Life span is a little longer.....
But my 2009 Omnia HD still has great brightness, and strong blues. And no burn in. Plus the life span has been increased a lot. Will last years. The JDI Oleds coming are twice as efficient on the same brightness with even longer lasting life expectancy.
It's just another exaggerated issue. They can last years...And even if they start to degrade a little years later. They are generally brighter and have much higher saturation by default that you probably won't even notice until years later.

So no. Oled is dramatically superior.

                Its so simple LG

Just listen to your customers...we are more important than your design team

1.Improve on Build quality (offer 2 yrs warranty)

2.Offer your phones to more countries, e.g via lg web and resellers

                3.Create more hype

4.Interact more with everyday users , don't rely on your own team , expand knowledge gap

                5. Os Updates, Lg you suck on updates

Sadly it seems LG will wind down its mobile division in a few years. Korean like to cut loses quickly unlike Japanese which sticks around

I told you even 1 year ago that because of the low sales, LG will copy Samsung. But the reason why LG have low sales is that they have poor build quality, poor quality of G5 module contact (gap, wears out quickly), bad reputation due to bootloops, shattergate (fragile camera glass), ugly design (the back of G5, V20, G6), weak GPS, poor quality screen (image retention). And LG still don't understand why they have low sales. They still don't understand what did they wrong. Therefore they misunderstood the failure of G5 and started copying Samsung with glass unibody, non-removable battery, small bezels and curved screen, AMOLED screen, wrong screen aspect ratio.

I hope LG V30 will be a big flop and profit loss, in hope that they will learn their lessons and will go back to the G4 and V10 design (removable battery, IR blaster, flat screen, LCD screen) for their future phones (and fix the bootloop and shattergate (fragile camera glass) once and for all).

Their bootloop from past years has taken its form now and coupled with bootloader unlock to only selected devices. LG really do loves drama.

poor execution, poor marketing globally and locally. I am using G6 in Malaysia, that makes me stand out from the crowd because i am using something so rare in the market. People think about phone, LG definitely not even in the top 8 list.

In terms of design, LG phones are already nice.
What they need just good spec, reasonable price, and good marketing.
And target mid-range phones (below $350).

Is there any LG mid-range device with finger print scanner or dual cam??? Their mid-range segment is full of crap!!
